The general public were treated to a good look inside the White House on Wednesday when President Donald Trump’s press secretary Karoline Leavitt welcomed content creator Kate Mackz inside for a new Instagram video.
The New York City-based internet personality is the host of the podcast Post Run High and The Running Interview Show, where she interviews celebrity guests while jogging together.
In the video, Karoline walked viewers through part of the White House, including the Press Briefing Room and her personal office, which features some interesting decor. The red Model S Tesla that Trump purchased back in March also featured in the clip.

During the walk-and-talk tour, Karoline wore a sleeveless pastel yellow pant suit with tan slingback heels and left her blond hair down.

The tour started outside the White House on ‘pebble beach,’ where green tents were lined up with members of the media, as Karoline described her job as a “dream come true.” At 27 years old, she is the youngest ever Press Secretary in White House history.
As she guided Kate into the James S. Brady briefing room, she commented on how small and “intimate” the space is, to which Karoline agreed and said: “We need to make it bigger so we can allow more voices in.” They then moved through a blue pocket door into an area where the White House press staff’s offices are located.

The New Hampshire native showed off her office, which is decorated with photos, including one of herself posing with the President, a couple featuring her baby, and one from her very first press briefing. Notably, the young mother does not have any photos of or with her husband Nicholas Riccio, who is 32 years her senior, in her office.
She does, however, have a printed out meme hanging on a cork board next to her desk. The printout features an image of a man pointing at a brain with a speech bubble that says: “No thanks. I won’t be needing that. I believe everything the legacy media shows.” She proudly showed it off and said, “Look, we want critical thinking around here.”
The tour also featured a surprise appearance by The White Lotus star Jason Isaacs, who just happened to be on the grounds at the same time.
The President’s red Tesla, which he is “not allowed to drive,” also featured and while Karoline said she “hasn’t taken him up on the offer to take it out for a drive,” apparently the electric vehicle is available for staff to borrow.
Kate’s followers were not happy about the controversial Press Secretary’s appearance on her platform as the post was inundated with disapproving comments, including several followers decided to unfollow Kate for interviewing Karoline.
One user wrote: “This makes me so so sad. We cannot normalize this administration. You just lost a follower with this one,” while another echoed: “Oh, nooo, why Kate? This is incredibly disappointing.” Another follower simply commented “Yikes.”
