Caffeine kick: Kelvin waited outside a coffee shop with the pooch in a man bag, while Milo lay fast asleep in the pushchairv
The soap star later introduced the pooch to his Instagram followers.
He wrote: ‘Fridays don’t get much better! Nice stroll around the market and then to my auntie’s cafe for a (free) brew! Oh and yes I’m now officially a dog owner! And yes I carry her in a bag.’
The family outing comes as the actor will reportedly perform a socially-distanced dance routine with his former dance partner Oti on this year’s upcoming launch show.

Happy: Kelvin introduced the pooch to his Instagram followers. He wrote: ‘Fridays don’t get much better! Nice stroll and then to my auntie’s cafe, yes I’m now officially a dog owner!’
Like all couples on the new series, The Sun have reported the pair have been isolating in their own bubble and the producers have enforced strict rules so Oti does not catch the virus and pass it to her celebrity partner for the latest competition.
A show source told the publication: ‘Kelvin and Oti can’t get anywhere near as close as they are used to because of the danger of infection, which would throw a huge spanner in the works.
‘But viewers will be intrigued to see how it will work.
‘The show’s creative team have all sorts of tricks up their sleeve.
‘These include potentially using a perspex screen between the dancers, as on some of Strictly’s counterparts in other countries.’
A representative for Strictly has been contacted by MailOnline for comment.
The launch show will air on BBC One in just six days time on October 17, while the first live show of a pared-down nine week run will be broadcast on October 24.
This follows the news that stars would potentially be undergoing daily checks for coronavirus after a former crew member tested positive days before the new series.
The Sun has also claimed that bosses have a list of ‘stand-by’ celebrities for the show in case a star falls ill with relatives likely banned from rehearsals and no live studio audience allowed.
