Kelvin Fletcher shared a sweet scene as he gifted his dad his ‘dream car’ Bentley to mark his 60th birthday
Kelvin Fletcher’s dad looked close to tears as his Emmerdale son star gave him an incredibly generous gift.
Kelvin, 37, had liaised with a car dealership to get dad Warren his “dream car” – a Bentley, thought to be worth around £160,000.
And posting snaps of the moment Warren saw the sleek ride, the beginnings of tears glistened in his eyes.
Dumbstruck by the gift, Warren even asked how long they had it for – believing it to be on loan.
In another snap, Kelvin gets in a pose next to the beautiful car, while in a third Warren has composed himself and shoots a suave look at the camera.

And in a fourth, Kelvin and Warren enjoy a drink together in times past, joined by brothers Dean and Brayden.
Penning a heartfelt tribute to his pops, Kelvin wrote: “They say a picture says a thousand words. Happy 60th Dad.
“My hero, my friend and my Dad. You’re the kindest soul I know and you’ll put anyone before yourself. We know how much you’ve always dreamed of this car so to see your face yesterday made my heart burst with pride and happiness.
“You deserve it and we are so lucky to have you.”

He added: “A special thank you to @baytreecars who helped to make this happen. The best service I’ve ever experienced.
“He actually said to us ‘how long have I got it for?’ Forever Dad it’s yours! #LifeBeginsAt60 #AsSoonAsThePubsOpen…”
Kelvin’s relationship with his dad is famously close, the latter beaming with pride when his son won Strictly in 2019.

And it seems Kelvin’s inherited his dad’s petrolhead genes after taking on F1 driver Jenson Button in motor racing championships. He was crowned Strictly champ alongside pro partner Oti Mabuse – who also won in 2020 with Bill Bailey – after stepping in for an injured Jamie Laing at the last minute.
Kelvin starred in Emmerdale until 2016, bringing to a close a 20-year stint on the soap as Andy Sugden.
