KELVIN Fletcher is now living the simple life on a farm with his pregnant wife Liz and their two children.

The former Emmerdale star, who won Strictly Come Dancing in 2019, announced last month his family-of-four will be growing in this year.

Kelvin bought the 120-acre 18th-century farm farm in the Peak District in a bid to enjoy a more slower pace of life

The TV star and his family have even signed up to a new six-part BBC documentary series about his farming adventures.

“So happy to finally announce this!” he told fans earlier this month on Instagram.

“If you’ve been sat there wondering what these random farming and outdoor pictures are all about well now you know!

“We have literally jumped in at the deep end and bought a farm!

“A reluctant Wife, 2 crazy kids and a Husband with knowledge of farming you could write on the back of a stamp! What could possibly go wrong?!”

Kelvin has been getting to grips with driving tractors, bottle feeding lambs, mucking out horses and raising piglets.

The former soap star certainly has a lot on his hands for next year as he prepares to welcome his third child to life on the farm.

Earlier today the 37-year-old told PA news agency: “There’s no question that for the Fletcher family the best thing to come out of 2021 is the news that we are expecting again.

“We are feeling extremely grateful and can’t wait to meet the new addition to our family.”

HAPPY COUPLE

Kelvin has known Liz since he was nine years old, and they tied the knot in November of 2015.

Together they share a daughter, Marnie and son, Milo.

Kelvin admitted that lockdown has done his family a world of good, with his non-stop schedule disrupted and forcing him to spend time at home after his busy stint on Strictly.

He said: “After an intense four or five months of regular family life being disrupted, to be at the other end of the spectrum, where I’m constantly at home, in a weird way, it couldn’t have come at a better time for me and Liz, and for the kids.”

Liz famously unfollowed Kelvin when he and his former professional partner Oti Mabuse were spotted enjoying a late night drink following a Strictly reunion.

But the couple later insisted they’d dodged the infamous Strictly curse – and were happier than ever.

Kelvin was a firm favourite on Emmerdale for 20 years playing Andy Sugden from 1996.
