Andy Sugden is looking a little different these days, compared to the last time you saw him on Emmerdale.
Actor Kelvin Fletcher has been working out a fair bit, it’s safe to say, as he shared with his social media followers what his physique is looking like today.
He even gave a mention to Marvel in his caption – hinting that he is ready to step up and play a superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“@Marvel I’m ready when you are,” he wrote.
Fletcher played Andy for around 20 years, from 1996 to 2016. Earlier this year, the actor said that it would be an honour to play somebody like Captain Britain.
“There’s been interest from a few places and I’m confident there’s something over there,” he said in March. “I’d love nothing more [than] to play a strong leading male in a Marvel thing.
“I read they are about to make comic book hero Captain Britain, and I thought that would be an amazing part to play.”

ITV
As for his Emmerdale character, Andy is still alive in the soap, but Fletcher has downplayed a return – at least in the foreseeable future.
“While Emmerdale is in my DNA, it’s exciting doing different things,” he shared recently.
Emmerdale airs on ITV.
