Former Strictly Come Dancing winner Kelvin Fletcher is opening the doors to his life on the farm with a brand new ITV show.

The actor, best known for his 20-year stint player farmer Andy Sugden in Emmerdale, will share an intimate glimpse into his family life with wife Elizabeth Marsland and their four children – Marnie, six, Milo, four, and twin sons Maximus and Mateusz, two – in new series Fletcher’s Family Farm.

Kelvin and his wife set up their farm from scratch after purchasing a 120-acre plot of land in 2021. Situated in the picturesque village of Wincle, near Macclesfield in Cheshire, Kelvin’s new venture as a real-life farmer shares uncanny similarities to his former on-screen persona.

Speaking to Manchester Evening News, the father-of-four said: “I’ve always loved the outdoors and countryside and I always had a bit of a dream and a vision of bringing up our family on our own farm. Who would have thought it? Playing a farmer and now here I am.”

Inside Kelvin Fletcher’s idyllic home on family farm

The star’s homely kitchen boasts cream countertops and rustic wooden detailing, including a large island ideal for hosting and heart family breakfasts. Adding to their country home aesthetic, the Fletchers have an AGA; a cast-iron oven with hotplates, a burner, a simmering oven, a roasting oven, a baking oven, and a warming oven.

“This was the easiest room to do. We kept everything in the same place as the old kitchen so we didn’t have to rewire much and we knew the flow and positioning of everything already worked. Choosing the colours felt risky but I’m so glad we went for it,” said Liz.

The Fletchers aren’t short of outdoor space with their 120-acre plot providing endless opportunities for the little ones to have fun in nature – but that doesn’t mean Kelvin and Elizabeth haven’t got an ultra-chic setup for hosting. In a photo shared to Instagram over the summer, Kevlin showed off the family’s al fresco dining space for their “summer smoothies,” complete with a wicker dining set and immaculate patio.

Elizabeth loves to keep her Instagram followers updated as she and Kelvin slowly renovate aspects of their sprawling farmhouse. In a wholesome “cottage update” the mum-of-four shared a beautiful corner of their home, complete with rustic pine doors, a plush herringbone floor and large windows decorated with nautical striped blinds.

The Strictly star’s family farm is private land and is not currently open to the public. However, Kelvin and Liz have hosted open days in the past, and are planning a family-friendly Santa’s Grotto event for Christmas that the public can book tickets to visit.
