OFFICIALS in LA have admitted the raging inferno sweeping across the city is “zero per cent contained” and warned that the worst is yet to come in the devastating blaze.
Two people have been k.i.lled in the f.i.res as tens of thousands of people have been forced to desperately flee their homes as dawn broke over the city.

Terrifying images showed how Tinseltown woke up to an apocalyptic fiery backdrop, as thick smoke helped block out the sun.
Four named fir.es erupted in Los Angeles – with the largest in the western neighborhood of Pacific Palisades starting on Tuesday.
Terrifying videos from locals showed the fir.es in areas like Pasadena and Malibu engulfing their homes as they desperately tried to flee.
This wildfir.e has been concentrated in the northern part of California’s largest city.

Affected areas have so far included to affluent neighborhood of Pacific Palisades, Hurst, Woodley and Eaton.
Two people have been confirmed de.a.d in the Eaton blaze, according to Los Angeles county fir.e chief Anthony Marrone.
“We have over 500 personnel assigned, and unfortunately, we have two reported fatalities, two civilians,” Marrone said.
“We have well over 5,000 acres that have burned, and the fi.re is growing.”
Marrone added that the cause of their d.eaths was “unknown at this time.”
Hurricane-strength winds have caused the fi.re to spread quickly and meant fi.refighters were not able to use air support to control the blazes.
LA fi.refighters today made the terrifying admission that they remained powerless in their fight against the wildfire, according to local ABC affiliate KABC.
Officials said there was no possibility the horrifying blaze could be contained soon.
Rescue missions have turned to focus on saving lives as vast parts of the city have been placed under mandatory evacuation orders.
The already horrifying scenes could become even worse as 100 mile per hour winds are set to spread the blaze further today.

Weather forecasters think the “worst is yet to come” as a dry windstorm is expected to last for days.
Any attempts to control the blaze were also hit with a reported water shortage.
F.irefighters were heard over the radio stating supplies in hydrants were running low, according to The LA Times.
One fi.refighter said: “The hydrants are down.”

LA’s horror fi.es meant the city’s downtown area was met with a terrifying red sunrise, as the blaze continued to rage.
The Palisades fi.res have forced several celebrities to flee and leave their homes behind.

Reality TV couple Spencer Pratt and Heide Montag – who met on The Hills in the noughties – were among those whose homes were destroyed.
Sources told TMZ that their family home was burnt to the ground after catching fi.re yesterday.
Thankfully, the pair and their two sons were able to safely evacuate earlier in the day, and were not there when the blaze broke out.
Star Wars icon Mark Hamill said he was evacuated from his Malibu home and went to his daughter Chelsea’s house in Hollywood with his wife Marilou and their dog Trixie.
