LOVE YOU ALWAYS: Rocker Rod Stewart ISSUES BLUNT STATEMENT, Leaving Fans Stunned

Rod Stewart left his fans emotional as he penned an update on social media following his farewell performance at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Detroit. The 80-year-old Maggie May hitmaker took to the stage with his One Last Time tour for a one hour 45 minute setlist, but later posted an emotional statement to Instagram.
Rod wrote: “Sincere thanks to all my fans and friends who attended my show last night at Pine Knob… You were just fabulous, even through the rain! I couldn’t have asked for more. God bless all of you, and may you stay ‘Forever Young!’ – Sir Rod Stewart.”
Fans headed to the comments section to show Rod some love, with one writing: “Love you always Rod!” while someone else echoed: “It was a great show. The lawn crowd came into the pavilion and the energy got hotter!”
Somebody else said: “It was amazing!! You’re the best Rod.” And a fourth fan penned: “Loved the show… my 10th Rod concert. I waved and you waved back at me!”
Rod confessed he is “having a great time” on the road after leaving behind his Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace.

But it will be the end of his “large-scale world tours” as he confirmed in an update: “This will be the end of large-scale world tours for me, but I have no desire to retire. I love what I do, and I do what I love.

“I’m fit, have a full head of hair and can run 100 metres in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79,” he wrote ahead of his 80th birthday. “I’d like to move onto a Great American Songbook Swing Fever tour the year after next – smaller venues and more intimacy. But then again, I may not…”
He signed off the statement with the moniker “the ambiguous Sir Rod Stewart”.
