Meghan McCain Leaving 'The View?' New Report Claims 'Exhausted and Defeated' Co-Host Considering Exit - Newsweek

Meghan McCain, former co-host of The View, 40, is pregnant and expecting her third baby with husband Ben Domenech, the political commentator revealed.

The pregnant mom of two shared the news while interviewing second lady Usha Vance for her podcast, 2Way’s Citizen McCain with Meghan McCain, which airs in full on Wednesday, June 25.

“I hope you don’t mind. I wanted to let you in on something that’s private that I haven’t talked about publicly yet,” McCain tells Vance. “I have two little girls. They are almost 5 and almost 3. And I just am entering my second trimester, I’m pregnant with my third.”

“I know this is a weird way to announce it, but I’m very nervous about…it’s a boy. I’m very nervous about having a boy. And I’m very nervous about having three children. Very.”

McCain is already mom to daughters Clover Jade, 2, and Liberty Sage, 4, whom she shares with Domenech.

In 2023, the daughter of John McCain spoke with People and shared that she believes in “keeping things really basic” when it comes to her parenting style.

“I feel so lucky just to have children because I didn’t know if I was ever going to be able to have children,” she said at the time. “I feel so lucky to be in this really sweet spot in my life right now. I’m 39 and I’m not young anymore and I have these like young kids. I just really try and live in a moment with them and really appreciate everything, even when it’s not glamorous.”

Recalling a time when Clover was sick with COVID, McCain said: “It was really scary. She got a fever for the first time and it was just figuring that out with my husband and our pediatrician. It’s so intense, but it’s all part of the journey of being a parent. And I try to be there, in the moment, as much as I can.”

 

That January, McCain and her husband announced via The Daily Mail that they welcomed their daughter Clover.

“Yesterday morning, we welcomed our newest addition, Clover Jade McCain Domenech, to our family!” they shared in a statement. “Ben and I are overjoyed to introduce Liberty to her baby sister and start this new adventure as a family.”

Domenech added: “Meghan’s strength and love for our daughters is boundless. I feel so blessed that her and Clover are both doing well, and I cannot wait for our entire family to meet our baby girl.”

Sharing the article on her own social media channels, McCain added: “Overjoyed to welcomed our new daughter Clover yesterday morning and officially announced we are a family of four!

“We are all feeling blissed out happy, healthy and exhausted!”
