MORE THAN A MOTHER! Kathie Lee Gifford’s UNEXPECTED ACTION made her 2-month-old niece CRY, probably out of HAPPINESS

Kathie Lee Gifford is reveling in being a grandmother to 2-month old Rosie Mae.
The former TODAY co-host posted a sweet video Aug. 2 singing a lullaby to her granddaughter, whom her daughter, Cassidy Gifford, welcomed in June.
In the clip, Kathie Lee held her gaze with Rosie, smiling and laughing as she sang the tune to “A Bushel and a Peck,” featured in the 1950s musical “Guys and Dolls.”

“Such a joy to hold my beautiful daughters beautiful daughter. Happy Birthday to her Mama, my precious Cassidy!” she captioned the clip.
In the comments, people couldn’t get enough of the heartfelt moment between grandmother and granddaughter.
“The whole world disappears when a grandma holds her grand babies,” one person wrote, with a red heart emoji.
Another commented, “I’m sitting here holding my daughter’s daughter, too. What a blessing!”
Cassidy gave birth to her second child earlier this summer. In a statement to TODAY.com June 6, Kathie Lee said she was “overjoyed” and shared the name of the newborn.
“I am overjoyed at the beautiful birth of my first granddaughter, Miss Rosie MAE. She is beyond gorgeous just like her Mama and we are praising God for the birth and the health of both Mama and baby,” she said at the time.
In a June 6 Instagram post, Cassidy wrote, “Rosie Mae Wierda! Born at 9:59 a.m. on 6/03/2025. You are a million prayers answered, Rosie girl. We love you so much.”
Cassidy and her husband, Ben Wierda, also share son Finn Thomas, whom they welcomed in June 2023.
Along with Rosie and Finn, Kathie Lee is a grandmother to Frankie, 3, and Ford, 1, whose parents are Cody Gifford and his wife, Erika. The couple named Frankie after Kathie Lee’s late husband, Frank Gifford, who died in 2015.
Cody and Erika announced in May that they are expecting their third child.
“Our little blessing on the way was prayed for, dreamed of, and is already so deeply loved,” Erika captioned an Instagram video. “20 weeks in and we can’t wait to meet the newest member of our crew.”
