Authorities reportedly identified the driver who is allegedly responsible for the Cybertruck that exploded outside of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas

Law enforcement have discovered who was allegedly the driver of the Cybertruck that exploded outside of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas.
It was reported that sources confirmed to KOAA on Wednesday evening that the driver of the aforementioned Cybertruck involved in the explosion resided in Colorado Springs, The Gazette reported. He is said to be 37-year-old and named Matthew Livelsberger. Senior law enforcement sources report that Matthew had multiple Colorado Springs addresses associated with him, according to KOAA, per the Gazette.
The FBI showed up at one of the addresses that’s associated with Matthew. He has not yet been officially identified by officers.
On Wednesday the Tesla vehicle burst into flames when it detonated outside of the Vegas hotel, which is owned by President-elect Donald Trump, resulting in one d3ath and seven injuries. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and Clark County Fire Department officials confirmed the d3ath during a press briefing.
Sheriff Kevin McMahill showed the footage of the firefighters taking off the black tarp that was containing the flames while at the news conference. The Sheriff explained that the Cybertruck’s design helped minimized collateral damage as the explosion was pushed upward through the car, leaving the external frame largely unscathed.
McMahill reported that there were seven bystanders who suffered minor injuries, with some even requiring hospital treatment. He also thanked Tesla CEO Elon Musk for his cooperation, saying, “He gave us a lot of information on how the vehicle was locked. And being able to capture all the video from the Tesla charging stations across the country.”
At 8:40 a.m. a fire broke out in the valet area of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, a county spokesperson revealed. According to a law enforcement source, the Cybertruck used in the attack, which was rented through the app Turo, appeared to be loaded with fireworks. A Turo spokesperson didn’t return a request for comment to The Mirror.
However, Elon announced on X, formerly Twitter: “We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and is unrelated to the vehicle itself. All vehicle telemetry was positive at the time of the explosion.”
