‘Never say never’
EXCLUSIVE: Emmerdale actor Oliver Farnworth, who plays village k!ller John Sugden, hinted at what’s in store on the ITV soap following a week of horror

Recently on Emmerdale, Aaron Dingle (played by Danny Miller) was finally informed about his husband John Sugden’s (Oliver Farnworth) evil crimes as the k!ller’s brother Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) headed into the woods to protect his ex-lover and track down missing Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb). However, when Robert caught up with them, John jumped off a cliff, taking Aaron with him during an explosive episode.
Robert was later arrested on suspicion of attempted murd3r after John regained consciousness in the hospital and threw his brother under the bus. The following questions now remain. Is John going to get away with his latest misdemeanour? Will an innocent Robert get sentenced for a crime he did not commit? And is Mackenzie actually d3ad?

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk at the National Television Awards, Oliver said he watches the show back to analyse himself as an actor.
He explained: “I’ve been through the motions of those scenes with whoever I’m working with, and I just wait for the edit to see what’s been done with it, and this particular block of episodes is like watching a movie in a way.”
When asked how he unwinds after weeks of filming tense scenes, like the recent ones of drugging Aaron and torturing Mack, the star said: “I’ve actually had a couple of weeks in Spain. When [I’m working], they are really long days—but that’s what you sign up for. It’s the challenge you sign up for.”
“When you’re gifted with these kinds of scripts and the storyline that we’ve been gifted with, all you want to do is do them justice.” He noted how his co-stars, Danny and Lawrence, have been sharing the dramatic storyline with him as they’ve pushed their characters to extremes.
So what’s in store for Emmerdale’s biggest villain, John? Oliver teased: “We know he’s in hospital right now – I believe.
“There’s always more to come, especially with Emmerdale. There’s always going to be more. Never say never!”
Does this mean more murd3rs are going to happen in the village or more drama for John, Aaron and Robert in scenes yet to air?
