Kelly Clarkson has a dirty little secret.
The “Miss Independent” songstress recalled suffering a shocking wardrobe malfunction, during Friday’s episode of her eponymous talk show.
“I had something happen on tour once where my skirt, the clip broke and it dropped, and I dropped so fast,” the original “American Idol” winner, 42, told Nick Jonas, who — along with co-star Adrienne Warren — stopped by to chat about his Broadway show, “The Last Five Years.”

“Look, long story short, I was commando,” Clarkson continued. “And I was like, it was a long skirt, and something happened to where it was like, ‘Oh, okay.’”
“It’s TMI for America,” she quipped, adding that in the moment, she marveled that it happened “the one night” she opted against undies. “It was really unfortunate.”
“Did you keep singing?” Warren asked, to which Clarkson replied, “Yes!”
The mom of two revealed she also stepped on glass during the same concert appearance. “It happens though, and you just to keep swimming,” she concluded.

The mom of two made the confession during a conversation with Nick Jonas and Adrienne Warren.

Jonas shared that he once split his pants during a rehearsal.
It’s also not the only time the “Stronger” singer has experienced a wardrobe malfunction. During a 2023 episode of her iconic talk show, she told guest Kyle Richards that she split her own pants while shooting the music video for “Since U Been Gone.”
The director, she shared, had asked her to crouch down in her “tight leather pants.”
“He was like, ‘Go down and pop back up!’ I was like, ‘Oh, okay, cool.’” she recounted. “And I went down and just, ‘Whoops!’” she said.
