Eric Pollard’s fall in Emmerdale
This evening, Tracy offered to help Eric Pollard with a task at the shop, suggesting that he should be taking it easy seeing as he’s turning 80 next week. We know we would!
Pollard was adamant he could lift the boxes alone though, although he soon struggled and dropped one after Tracy had gone. When she returned, he blamed it on the delivery people…
Later on, Kerry Wyatt entered the shop and told Pollard he needed to get some frozen peas on his leg. She even insisted she would collect him from work and drop him home. How lovely of her!
Kerry then suggested that Pollard had some more help around the shop but Pollard wouldn’t have any of it. He wanted to keep struggling alone…
However, when he was back at home, he lost his footing and fell on the floor, struggling to move. It was a tough watch.

Is Chris Chittell leaving Emmerdale?
With Pollard’s Parkinson’s symptoms becoming more noticeable recently, fans might be fearing what his future looks like.
Although Chris Chittell’s wife Lesley Dunlop left the soap as Brenda Walker a few months ago, there has been no news of Chris following in her footsteps.
In scenes to come, spoilers reveal that Kerry suggests getting Pollard some home-help. Jacob and Kerry then come up with a plan to help support him. Will Pollard accept that he needs help though? And, what will this mean for him going forward?
