Emmerdale has ended its love triangle storyline, making way for a shocking baby twist.
Viewers will know that Sarah Sugden has been involved in a love triangle recently, unable to decide between Jacob Gallagher and newcomer Kammy Hadiq.
Jacob ended things with Sarah after his mum Leyla died in a limo crash and Sarah has been growing closer to Kammy since he arrived in the village in March.
Jacob and Kammy have been fighting for Sarah’s affections ever since, and in yesterday’s episode Jacob crashed after he challenged Kammy to a dirt bike race to try and impress Sarah.

In tonight’s episode, the three dealt with the fallout from the crash and Kammy told Cain he felt defeated after seeing Sarah kiss Jacob.
After Kammy confronted Sarah, she decided not to pursue things with Jacob, telling him: “The thing is Jacob, it wasn’t really like that.”
Telling Jacob the kiss was between friends, Sarah said: “I didn’t mean to give you the wrong idea and I’m still here if you ever need a friendly chat, but, well, you know.”
She was wrong-footed when Kammy decided to end things with her, telling her he didn’t want to be her rebound guy.
“I thought you were really into me, but clearly you’ve still got a thing for him,” Kammy told Sarah. “I feel like I’m caught in the middle of something and it’s not where I want to be, so let’s call it quits, yeah?”

Jacob and Kammy ended their feud over Sarah and the paired shared a handshake after agreeing to stop winding each other up.
This decision is building up to Sarah’s realisation next week that she doesn’t want a boyfriend, but instead wants to undergo IVF treatment to have a baby.
In scenes set to air next week, Sarah will confide in Vanessa Woodfield, telling her she wishes to have IVF. Sarah will seek confirmation of her eligibility from Manpreet Sharma, the local doctor.
