Peter Andre has made a heart-wrenching confession about wife Emily’s “serious” birth complications during the arrival of their daughter Arabella last year — and it’s changed everything for their family.

The Mysterious Girl singer, 51, and NHS doctor Emily share three children: Amelia, Theo, and baby Arabella, who was born in April 2024. They also co-parent Junior and Princess, Peter’s children with ex-wife Katie Price.

But now, Peter has revealed in a candid podcast interview that Arabella’s birth came with frightening medical complications — so much so that he and Emily have decided to close the chapter on growing their family.

“It was serious,” he admitted, sharing rare details of the experience. “And it made us realise – this is it. No more.”

The emotional revelation has touched fans, many praising the couple for their strength, resilience, and decision to prioritise health over pressure.

Speaking with Giovanna Fletcher on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, Peter reflected on how Arabella had enriched their lives.

But, despite his delight at being a dad again, the 52-year-old singer admitted it was a “bittersweet” milestone in his life.

That’s because Peter indicated he and Emily Andre, 35, are not likely to become parents to any more kids in the future.

Explaining his happiness with fatherhood, Peter said: “It’s beautiful because you’ve experienced it, how lucky. When I think of people who can’t have children, and I’m thinking I’ve got to experience it that many times.”

‘Complications were serious’

Peter went on to reveal the choice not to add to their family was influenced by “complications” during Arabella’s birth.

He said: “Emily had a real complication with Belle which I’m sure she’ll tell you about, which people didn’t know about. And I don’t know if she’s ever talked about it. But the complications that happened after, they were very serious.”

It was a very scary time.

He continued: “So it was a very scary time as well, but it also confirmed that it was the last time.”

In recent weeks, Peter has found himself in hot water with fans after taking his family to controversial park SeaWorld and posting about it on Instagram.

One unhappy follower fumed at him in the comments section: “Anyone with half a brain should know to avoid SeaWorld – come on it’s 2025 – do better!”

And a few weeks ago, Peter also experienced another backlash after her came under fire over his wearing a dreadlocks wig and putting on a Jamaican accent for his film role in Jafaican.
