In a dramatic turn of events, Prince Harry’s security status is under review which could open the door for King Charles to finally reunite with his grandchildren Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, who have been living in the US with their parents Meghan Markle and the Duke of Sussex.

The duke went to the High Court earlier this year to try to get his taxpayer-funded police protection reinstated but ultimately lost the case. Since then, Harry has insisted it’s simply too risky for his family to set foot on British soil without proper security measures in place.

Piers Morgan has reacted to the bombshell news as the Uncensored presenter, 60, suggested he “use that ill-gotten cash” to fund his police protection when the duke visits the UK in a five-word put down.

Taking to social media the former Good Morning Britain host reacted to the “breaking news announcement”.

Sharing a headline which read: “Prince Harry ‘wins Government review into demand for 24-hour armed police protection.'”

Piers remarked: “Why should UK taxpayers finance this entitled brat’s security when he does zero public duty for this country?”

The presenter then claimed: “He’s made millions from trashing the Royals/Monarchy – he can use that ill-gotten cash for personal protection.”

Prince Harry has been vocal in recent years about his time as a working royal after he and his wife stepped down from their duties in 2020.

In March 2021, around one year after they left the UK, Meghan and Harry sat down with veteran broadcaster Oprah Winfrey where the couple claimed a member of the Royal Family was “concerned” about how dark their child’s skin would be.

The following year the Sussexes released their self-titled Netflix documentary where they detailed the difficulties they faced as working royals.

Harry’s controversial memoir Spare was released in January 2023, which provided insights to life behind closed doors in the Royal Family and disclosed Harry’s struggles with mental health and grief after the loss of his mother.
