POWER COUPLE GOES BIG Amy Walsh And Husband STUN Fans With Huge CAREER SHIFT As They Invest In YOUNG Talent Through New School
Fans and Emmerdale co-stars of Amy Walsh (Tracy Robinson) have been rushing to congratulate her on Instagram, as she announces her next big career move.
Luckily, this doesn’t mean Tracy is going anywhere – instead, Amy and her husband, Toby-Alexander Smith (who previously starred in EastEnders as villainous Gray Atkins) have announced they’re going to be opening their own drama school.
The Walsh Academy North will be a Leeds based drama school for children aged 7 to 16. Amy and Toby explained over on Instagram that they want to allow kids to have fun and gain confidence.
Opening on Monday, June 2, the classes will be coached by Amy and Toby themselves.

Amy Walsh and Toby-Alexander Smith’s romantic history
Despite both being in soaps, the pair actually met in the audience of Strictly Come Dancing.
In 2019, Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher and EastEnders’ Emma Barton were both taking part in the dance competition.
Amy and Toby were both there to cheer their respective co-stars on.
Since then, the couple have had a child together (a daughter, named Bonnie Mae) in 2021.
In 2023, the pair finally tied the knot.

Previous projects together
This isn’t the first time they’ve worked together, having previously worked on a short film together.

Last year, Amy appeared in ITV Be’s Drama Queens documentary.
This allowed fans to get a behind the scenes look at the lives of soap actors. Fans saw a glimpse into Amy’s life with Toby, as he was present for many of her appearances.
