Meghan Markle was left horrified by her husband Prince Harry’s behavior at the Invictus Games – but a body language expert has explained what the moment really means

Meghan Markle was shocked by a daring move from Prince Harry at the Invictus Games, signaling a shift in their dynamic, according to an expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were all smiles at the event in Canada, where Meghan spent five days supporting her husband before jetting back to their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. During Meghan’s Canadian visit, she spent several days with Harry in Vancouver before they headed to the ski resort of Whistler, where they both graced the stage at a welcome event.

Harry was first introduced on stage by Michael Bublé, who thrilled the crowd with a performance of Feeling Good. Michael said, “I know how difficult something like this is, so I wanted to make sure I did this right. Without the incredible effort of this young man, none of this would have happened, so please welcome my friend, Prince Harry.”

Meghan joined Harry on stage at the conclusion of his speech, only for him to joke, “Now she’s going to sing!” leaving his wife stunned.

Body language expert Judi James told The Mirror that this interaction was quite revealing. She elaborated, “Harry loves playful behavior and banter, but he usually adopts a different tone with Meghan, sticking to more romantic narratives. Here though he brings her into his routine with a flapping hand that suggests good humour rather than any royal graciousness.”

James highlighted the chemistry between Meghan and Harry, noting a certain synchronicity in their interactions. “There is some synchronicity here though as she actually seems pretty much in tune with his more fun side. At first there is the usual mutual hugging, and Meghan shows empathy by rubbing Harry’s hand to thaw it out in the cold air. But when he jokes about her singing, her response is speedy as she looks shocked but then equally playful.”

She also praised the couple’s dynamic during a recent event, “The last image of the pair leaning forward into the mic to take their goodbyes is one of the better images of them working as an upbeat, casual and relaxed team of two.”

Judi’s insights come amid a heartfelt gesture from Meghan to Harry, who stayed behind in Canada while she returned home to their kids. On Wednesday, Meghan took to her Instagram Stories to share a snapshot of custom shirts for the little ones and a collection of Canadian treats.

Her caption was a sweet shout-out to Harry, “A taste of Canada and The Invictus Games for our little ones! Cheering you on from home!” Throughout the Invictus Games, an event honoring wounded service members, Meghan has been actively posting on her Instagram account, offering glimpses of her engaging with participants’ kids and playfully navigating the opening ceremony in a golf buggy.
