RUMOURS Coronation Street’s Abi Webster leaving soap CONFIRMED

Fans of Coronation Street have predicted that one character on the cobbles has “confirmed” her exit – but it will only make things go from bad to worse. Monday evening’s episode saw Abi Webster (Sally Carman) planning a future away from Weatherfield with her new lover Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard).
Despite Carl being the brother of Abi’s husband, Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell), Abi seems to have fallen for him as the latest instalment of the ITV soap saw her making plans to move to Germany, where he grew up, with him. It comes as they try to escape Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), after she made a move on Carl herself, only to discover that he was in love with someone else. She assumed it could be Abi but didn’t truly believe it until she peeked through the window and saw the pair kissing.
When Abi finds out that Tracy knows what’s going on, she’s taken aback. She meets up with Tracy in the cafe and explains that she never planned to fall for Carl, it was just something that happened out of the blue. She insists she doesn’t want to hurt Kevin and begs Tracy not to tell anyone about her discovery.
But of course, Abi doesn’t fully trust Tracy and decides that the only way to ensure that it doesn’t blow up in their face is to leave the country.
However, fans have predicted that there could be bad news waiting for them when they get to Germany and there will be more heartbreak to come from the sordid affair.

One wrote: “So Abi doesn’t know about the meanies after Carl in Germany? #Corrie.” Another added: “Now I’m thinking Carl never lived in Germany and it was all a c/// and bull story #Corrie”
A third penned: “So Tracy thinks that she’s going to blackmail Carl who came over from Germany because he’s skint and got people after him for money? #Corrie.” Meanwhile someone else predicted: “What if Carl & Tracy have made a pact to con Abi wouldnt that be a turnup for the books #Corrie.”
Someone else theorised: “Abi is sinking and isn’t thinking straight. She needs to tell Kevin straight away before things blow up in her face big time. #Corrie.”
