Rosie O’Donnell has warned that ABC’s The View could be next in line for the chopping block — claiming the network is “reviewing the liberal bias” on the long-running daytime talk show.
Posting a fiery TikTok, the former View co-host wrote in her caption that she believes “reviewing the bias” is code for cancelling the show altogether. “The show with five women speaking their own opinions — that’s the threat now,” O’Donnell said. “They say they want balance, but what they mean is silence. Silence anything that doesn’t praise the orange messiah and his golden escalator of lies.”
The comedian and actress — who appeared on The View twice — insisted the show is far from a “radical leftist threat” and accused executives of targeting voices that don’t align with “Trumpism” and what she called “soft fascism in full lashes with commercial breaks.”
She continued: “First they came for the journalists. Then the educators. Then the librarians. Now, it’s Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg. It would be funny if it weren’t so terrifying.

“Because when the only voices left on TV are nodding along to conspiracy theories about wind turbines causing autism, we are not in a democracy anymore. We are in a dictatorship with good lighting.
“When they label truth as bias, and disagreement as danger, and they start scrubbing the airwaves of anyone who makes them uncomfortable. What they’re really trying to do is shut us up. All of us.”
O’Donnell sees a worrying trend in Colbert’s departure and Trump’s rhetoric, warning that The View may be in the crosshairs next. “This isn’t just about a TV show,” she said. “It’s about what happens when powerful men decide they’ve heard enough from women. We do not get quieter… we speak louder.”
“We take up space. We stand together and say what is true, even when it shakes the walls.
“Because the most dangerous sound in the world is a woman who knows what she’s talking about— and refuses to stop.”
In the comments it became clear fans were divided over her prediction. One user said, “I have been a fan of the View since day one. This would be devastating news. I look forward to watching it every day.”
A second added, “I never thought America would be like this. We have a right to see ALL opinions and ALL information,” with a third echoing, “I can barely contain my anger. Every day is a new assault on our freedom.”

“Whether you like it or not doesn’t matter. The voices should not be quietened. People need to be able to voice their opinion. We can agree or disagree. We do not simply eliminate all who disagree with us. We agree to have a difference of opinion. That is what democracy allows,” someone else shared.
Meanwhile others said, “Come on Rosie that shows has sucked for years now!” and another chimed in, “You said it!! Mention it all.”
Her comments came just weeks after Stephen Colbert stunned viewers by announcing that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert would end in May next year after a decade on air.
Speaking to his audience on July 17, Colbert revealed the network would be ending the show entirely, telling fans: “I’m not being replaced, this is all just going away… I’m grateful to The Tiffany Network for giving me this chair and this beautiful theatre to call home.”
The announcement was met with loud boos from the studio crowd, and Colbert became visibly emotional as he thanked his band, staff, and audience for their support over the years.
