SH0CK TWIST: Emmerdale’s Mackenzie Boyd’s fate SEALED after HEARTBREAKING TWIST

Mackenzie Boyd (played by Lawrence Robb) made a dramatic escape from the bunker, but Emmerdale fans’ excitement was short-lived. John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) has been holding Mack hostage in an underground bunker since he worked out the truth about Nate Robinson’s (Jurell Carter) d3ath. Fans have watched Mackenzie do everything he can to escape John, from pretending to side with him to almost attacking him. During tonight’s hour-long episode, John went to extreme lengths to regain control of husband Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) by prepping a bottle of whisky laced with drugs in front of Mack.
With his mind occupied, John failed to realise he dropped a screwdriver on the floor. After John left, Mackenzie battled through excruciating pain and managed to get hold of the screwdriver, which he used to remove the brick from the wall that was holding him. Mackenzie found the strength to push the bunker door open and escaped. But John, who was in the midst of drugging Aaron, could see Mack escaping through a camera positioned outside the bunker.

He chased after Mack, culminating in a dramatic showdown between the two. John eventually got the upper hand, but just as he was about to finish Mack off, they could hear a disorientated Aaron shouting in the distance.
Mack screamed out to his best friend before convincing John to go and help his husband. Preventing Mack from going anywhere, John dropped a rock down on his face.
But just when it looked like Mackenzie had been k!lled, he could be seen making a break for it and discovered the road. Mack breathed a small sigh of relief, believing his ordeal was finally over.
As a car approached him, Mack begged the person to help his friend, who was nearby and had been drugged. But in a gut-wrenching twist, the driver turned out to be John.
Armed with an axe, it looked as though John wasn’t taking any chances. He approached Mack wielding the axe as the screen cut to black. Has John finally murdered his victim? Devastated fans are certain this is the end for Mack as they flocked to social media to share their thoughts.
“That’s it, Mackenzie’s d3ad,” one viewer penned alongside a crying emoji. “Poor Mack gets it with the axe,” a second sobbed.

Another raged: “After all that are you kidding me? If John k!lls Mack I am literally never going to watch Emmerdale again because this is gonna pee me right off!”
A fourth echoed: “I’m sorry but if this storyline ends with Mack d3ad after all this I’m done pls and thank you.”
Another added: “Mack is going to d!e after all he’s been through,” followed by a crying emoji.
