SH0CKING – Coronation Street’s Gary Windass REVEALS 𝐸XTR𝐸M𝐸 R𝐸V𝐸NG𝐸 plot in Horrifying Form
Gary Windass (played by Mikey North) is out for revenge after finding his friend in a distressed state on Coronation Street. Next week, Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) hits breaking point when he realises his family are being used to promote a homophobic campaign. After Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) shows him the leaflet, Theo stands him up for lunch and trashes the builder’s yard in a fit of rage. A horrified Gary returns and finds a broken Theo, vowing to make Noah Hedley (Richard Winsor) pay for everything he’s doing to his friend.
“Gary takes it upon himself to serve some vigilante justice,” Theo star James Cartwright said. “He can’t see his friend being treated like that. He’s accepting of Theo and outraged at Noah’s behaviour.” Theo was already struggling after discovering his ex-wife cosying up to Noah, which came after he finally found the strength to break away from the twisted conversion therapist.
James continued: “Old wounds are being reopened right on his doorstep. Noah appears when Theo is finally living his truth, so the timing couldn’t be any worse. He’s settled with Todd, they’re happy, until Noah ruins the party.”
He added to Digital Spy: “Noah is indoctrinating Theo’s family. He’s sleeping with his wife, treating his kids like his own and telling them homosexuality is wrong. Theo’s trying to make peace with his decisions, but Noah’s telling him he’s shameful.”
Gary’s fury is unstoppable after finding Theo and he heads straight to the community centre to confront Noah, unaware that Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) is also heading his way.
Of the escalating situation, James said: “Gary says he’ll only give Noah a warning,” teases James. “But it’ll never be just a warning with Gary Windass! Theo is grateful, but it also comes at a time when he’s fighting for custody. One wrong move and it’s curtains…”
How will Maria react when she sees her partner fuelled with anger and armed with a hammer?
Elsewhere in the soap, Abi (Sally Carman) and Carl (Jonathan Howard) continue their affair behind Kevin’s back. Last week, she sneakily made out to Kevin that she had a stomach bug and would have to give a wedding a miss, leaving him to attend the night on his own.
Instead, she made her own plans and decided to meet up with Carl in his hotel room. The sneaking around continues next week when Abi heads over to see Carl after telling Kevin she has a migraine.
When guilt starts getting the better of her, Carl suggests they go for a drive to take her mind off things. But when they arrive at the precinct, Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) spots Carl in his car.
Carl quickly jumps out and heads over while Abi sinks down and hides in the passenger seat. Will the pair be caught out by Tyrone?
