SH0CKING DISCOVERY: Lewis Barton UNCOVERS Moira’s ROLE in Emma Barton’s D3ATH

Lewis Barton was blackmailed on Emmerdale as the newcomer continued to put pressure on Moira Dingle in regards to his mother’s d3ath.
Lewis, the half-brother of Ross, arrived in the Dales earlier this month as he sought answers regarding the circumstances of Emma’s d3ath, which was caused by Moira eight years ago.
Despite the fact that Adam took the blame for Emma’s mu&der, Lewis has been curious – and sceptical – of the agreed story, and eventually deduced yesterday (28 May) that Moira was the one who was responsible.
Thursday’s (29 May) episode began with Lewis questioning Ross over his complicity in the cover-up, with the figure demanding that Moira – who was at Aaron and John’s wedding – immediately explain herself.

Moira promptly left the ceremony and explained her part in Emma’s d3ath, with both her and Ross reasoning that Lewis needed to be “protected” from the full truth. Despite their warnings, Lewis continued to demand answers.
In a heartfelt recollection, Moira explained the situation from her perspective as she shared that the villainous Emma wanted a “way out” following her various crimes, with the figure picking “the person she hated the most” to do the deed.
Lewis, however, reasoned that his mother was a woman in need of treatment, and that neither Moira nor Ross could ever justify their actions despite Emma’s various crimes. Under the pump, Lewis branded Ross a “bully”.

“I’ve known people like you my whole life,” he continued, with the figure sharing that Moira and Ross wouldn’t “get away” with their actions any longer as he threatened to contact the police. An enraged Ross urged his half-brother to “wake up”, saying that he meant “nothing” to Emma.
After Lewis reiterated his desire to go to the police, Ross confirmed that he would be “left with no choice” but to notify them of his half-brother’s illegal weed operation.
Will Lewis go to the authorities? And how will he respond to Ross’s threats?
