NATALIE Cassidy has revealed the real reason she and fiance Marc Humphreys haven’t tied the knot – despite being engaged for almost a decade.
The EastEnders star, 41, and BBC cameraman Marc got engaged in October 2015 and share daughter Joanie, 12. Natalie is also mum to Eliza, 14, from a previous relationship.

Despite their long relationship, Natalie and Marc have no plans to get married even though she admits it “would be nice”.
Explaining the reason, she said: “It’s a bit of a nightmare. We’re always busy and we always say yes to things, but it’d be nice to think about it.”
Natalie – who recently quit as EastEnders’ Sonia Fowler after 32 years – confessed she will have more free time to think about walking down the aisle now.
Speaking to the Mirror, she continued: “If you’re getting good opportunities you can’t turn them down.

“But I feel like you can just balance the diary a little bit more because EastEnders is such a huge machine you have to plan around.”
Last year Natalie joked the reason they haven’t got married is because she’s “a snob” and weddings can cost a lot of money.
Speaking on the Memory Lane podcast with Kerry Godlimen and Jen Brister, Natalie said: “Do you know what? It’s a lot of money.
“No, I tell you what it is; it’s time and budget. It is because I go, ‘I’ll only do something small; I don’t need to…’
“I will do it small but I want to be at The Ledbury.
“Oh, I want a Michelin star meal or I’m just a bit of a snob genuinely. I’ll want the best flowers and I will want a designer suit.”
EastEnders’ Natalie Cassidy drops biggest hint yet about when Sonia Fowler will return after shock exit from soap
Natalie recently told The Sun why she won’t be cashing in on easy reality TV appearances after leaving EastEnders.
She said: “I’ve done Strictly which I loved, but your I’m A Celebs, your Dancing On Ices, if they’re still on telly, they’re kind of always there. I feel that now’s the time to do a few different things.
“I’ve always been honest – if I’ve got a very large tax bill and get offered an extreme amount of money, then you might see me in the jungle.
“But as it stands, I’m hoping to pick and choose a little bit more and just do a few projects for me.”
