SH0CKING TWIST: Anthony Fox’s PRESUMED D3ATH Now in Question as EVIDENCE SUGGESTS He May Be ALIVE

Agrowing legion of Emmerdale fans have become convinced that Anthony Fox is still alive. Ruby’s abusive father was apparently k!lled last year following a run-in with his daughter as he lay, grievously injured.

Ruby finished the job that Aaron Dingle had started, putting Anthony out of his misery. During the aftermath, John Sugden intercepted, taking it upon himself to hide the body so as to clear Aaron (who thought he’d k!lled Anthony!) of blame.

Since then, Cain and Charity have also come on board with the village murder club – although everyone’s taking John’s word that the body is where he says it is.

With some fans still convinced he remains among the living, his fate still remains something of a mystery. Is Anthony even d3ad?

Anthony lives, Emmerdale fans predict

Writing on a Reddit thread, a number of fans shared their thoughts on Anthony’s whereabouts. And many were still hanging onto the theory that he might still be alive somewhere.

“Ruby admits to k!lling him and it goes to trial, but we find out that Anthony isn’t coming forward because he wants to punish his daughter. Then he has a showdown with Steph to make him come forward and admit what he’s done,” wrote one fan.

“No, he is alive somewhere,” agreed another.

“Probably living in John’s old place and it will come out they are related somehow,” a third said.

“Alive, in a care home somewhere with no memory???” wondered a fourth.

In recent months, John has revealed that he has a thing for saving the day – creating disasters just so he can be the one to play hero.

This previously involved him tampering with Chas’s medicine so she passed out, swapping nut-sensitive Jacob’s coffee for an almond milk latte, and trapping Moira under some heavy farm equipment. Could John resist the urge to save a life – even Anthony’s – as they lay dying before him?

Ruby confesses as police investigate d3ad body in Emmerdale next week

With a body turning up in Emmerdale next week, it seems as though Anthony’s body may have been found at last. Ruby certainly believes so – and heads down to the police station to confess, so as to save Caleb from the consequences of her crime.

However, it is soon revealed that the body is actually that of Nate. And, as fingers are pointed at Cain (who dealt Nate a terrible beating just before he disappeared), it seems as though the police may have found their suspect.

But where does this leave Ruby? And where is Anthony?
