On a Pop Culture Jeopardy! episode, there was a cheeky clue to a past photoshoot that Jenna Bush Hager did back in 2022
Jenna Bush Hager’s “thirst trap” is now a clue on Jeopardy! – Pop Culture Jeopardy! to be exact.
On the latest iteration of of the trivia show that debut on Amazon Prime in December and is hosted by Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost, they had a clue about the TODAY show host. The category was “Thirst Traps” and the clue read: “With the help of Hoda Kotb and a hairdryer, this ‘TODAY show’ book guru posted a thirst trap to celebrate 1 million followers.”
In January 2022, Jenna took a thirst trap photo on-set to celebrate Hoda & Jenna reaching one million followers on Instagram as she had previously promised fans she would do if they hit that milestone.
In the series of photos, Jenna gave the camera her best smoldering look and did a sultry pose as her hair blew in the wind, courtesy of co-host Hoda Kotb with a hairdryer.

The Jenna moment on Pop Culture Jeopardy! was brought up and discussed on the TODAY show on January 14 with Jenna, Carson Daly, Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, and Al Roker.
After talking about the clue, a photo from shoot was shown and Carson said, “How could anybody forget this thirst trap?” But then the Voice host inquired what a thirst trap was.
Jenna explained: “A thirst trap is, you know, you go on Instagram and there’s the people that are kind of sexy and dressed inappropriately, and they’re trying to get the attention of somebody.”
Savannah also chimed in with her own explanation: “A thirst trap is like a hot picture that’s trying to attract attention.”
Jenna then joked about her own photo and about it being on the trivia game show.
“All I have to say is I’ve never made my parents more proud,” the 43-year-old said. “I mean, that’s the ‘Jeopardy!’ clue I get? Geez!”
Jenna is the daughter of former President George W. Bush and former first lady Laura Bush. The author recently said goodbye to co-host Hoda as she left TODAY on Friday, January 10.

“I adore Hoda. She’s the best partner. She’s been the most generous partner, and we are truly really great friends. The thought of her not being here is almost too much to bear. Obviously, I’ve had months to wrap my head around it, although I cannot promise that our last ‘Hoda-bration’ won’t also be filled with tears,” Jenna told PEOPLE before Hoda’s last day.
Now the show – that airs on the fourth hour – will be named Today with Jenna & Friends, which will see a variety celebrity guests taking co-hosting duties. Beginning January 21, actress Scarlett Johansson will be there for a week.
