Home and Away‘s Mackenzie Booth is about to surprise her partner Levi Fowler by revealing that she wants a baby.
The new storyline plays out on Australian screens this week, following Mackenzie and Levi’s trip to see Dean Thompson and Ziggy Astoni in North Queensland.
Levi pushes Mackenzie to be honest about what’s on her mind when he notices that she seems unusually quiet following their holiday.
Naturally, Levi assumes that Mackenzie is still recovering from the trauma of being kidnapped by escaped prisoners during their time away.

Mackenzie shocks Levi by revealing that something very different is on her mind – she’s been thinking about their future and wants a baby.
A report in Aussie magazine TV Week has revealed that Mackenzie doesn’t get the reaction she was expecting from Levi.
Levi assumes that Mackenzie is getting carried away with a whim, as Ziggy revealed that she was pregnant again during the holiday.
As Levi questions whether Mackenzie is ready to start a family, he encourages her to think long and hard before rushing to follow in Ziggy’s footsteps.

Is Levi right to urge caution, or is he hiding his own anxieties around starting a family?
Home and Away‘s big trip for Mackenzie and Levi saw Patrick O’Connor and Sophie Dillman reprise their roles as Dean and Ziggy after two years away.
Sophie has since confirmed that she’d be interested in returning as Ziggy on a more permanent basis.

She told Woman’s Day magazine: “I’ve always said that I wanna be Emily Symons [Marilyn Chambers] when I grow up, so it’s definitely something that I would love to do.
“The writers do such a great job creating character storylines that do well in the Bay, but it’s not easy to flick a switch and get characters to dip in and out.”
Home and Away fans in the UK will see Mackenzie’s baby revelation in May on Channel 5.
