The latest episode of Kelvin Fletcher’s new BBC One series Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure brought about an exciting Emmerdale reunion.
In the episode, Fletcher reunited with old Emmerdale castmates Danny Miller and Adam Thomas, who popped in to pay him a visit.
The former co-stars were given a tour around the farm and were even asked to help feed Fletcher’s rare breed pigs.
“Mate… I just can’t believe you’re a farmer, mate,” exclaimed Thomas.

He wasn’t the only one excited by the actor’s latest life development.
“I’m taken by you,” added Miller. “I’m in awe of you at the moment. The pigs I can take or leave… I mean they’re very cute.”
Fletcher opened up during the episode about his decision to lead a farmer’s life.
“I always used to love scenes like this,” he said. “Just scenes when we’d be out in the countryside. With tractors with animals, I was always envious of farmers. They’re outdoors, yes it’s hard work when the weather’s not so great, but I just thought I’d take the plunge and give it a go.”
The actor played Andy Sugden on Emmerdale for 20 years before departing in 2016.

Thomas, who played Adam Barton, stayed in the show from 2009 till 2018, when his character fled the country after confessing to murdering Emma Burton, while Danny Miller is the latest one to exit, taking his leave in late 2021.
Unfortunately, despite the happy atmosphere, the episode couldn’t help but take a sour turn when the former Emmerdale actor was given the difficult task of taking a lamb to the slaughterhouse to use for dinner.
His 5-year-old daughter Marnie was seen later exclaiming “What happened to his head?” when Fletcher brought the lamb at home for cooking. Oh dear!
