SIMPSONS Fans Claim Showrunners Oddly Predicted CALIFORNIA Wildfires Almost 20 Years Ago. T

The Simpsons have been on-air for decades, and throughout the years the show has been credited with seemingly accurately foretelling certain occurrences

The wildfires that are burning through Los Angeles are starting to evoke conspiracy theories as many are speculating if arsons are to blame for the flames.

Amid the speculations, some are beginning to believe that the horrific California wildfires were already predicted by the seemingly prophetic cartoon series The Simpsons. Recently the TikTok account with the handle @twinski.tv broke down an episode of the animated show that appeared to foretell the fiery scenario Southern Californians are experiencing at this time.

“In episode 12 of season 18 titled Little Big Girl, Springfield faces a devastating wildfire that threatens the town and its residents,” the narrator of the TikTok video shared as what appeared to be images from the episode flashed across the screen.

“Bart, in one of his pranks, ends up causing a fire that quickly spirals out of control, highlighting the vulnerability of communities in the face of natural disasters,” the narrator added, speaking on the episode that aired in 2007.

The narrator continued: “The scenes in this episode are eerily similar to recent events. Wildfires spreading across various regions, property destruction, and the relentless efforts of firefighters to contain the flames.”

Near the end of the video, the narrator asked, “coincidence or yet another unsettling prediction?”

Many in the comment section believed the Simpsons creators again predicted another major event. The show already eerily projected the outcome of the 2024 US presidential election map over 20 years ago in an episode that aired in 2000.

“SIMPSONS ALREADY KNEW,” one wrote in the comment section of the aforementioned TikTok video. Another wrote, “wtf how do they know all this?” Despite all of the superstition regarding The Simpsons, some were less inclined to believe in the show’s power to successfully predict future events.

“They never said on The Simpsons is in California & there is wildfires everywhere throughout the year. So it’s not a prediction,” one commented. The Pacific Palisades fire began on Tuesday. From then on, more fires were sparked, leading to multiple flames blazing simultaneously.

Between the heavy wind and lack of rain, the fires were fueled, causing the flames to grow ferociously.

So far over 10,000 buildings have been burnt in the LA wildfires and at least 10 people have died because of the wildfires.
