STRICTLY CHAOS: Claudia Winkleman’s Coldplay-Inspired ‘Kiss Cam’ Prank Turns Strictly Into A Comedy Moment Fans WON’T Forget

Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left in stitches on Saturday night as Claudia Winkleman created the infamous Coldplay ‘kiss cam’ moment during the live show.
The host joined musical director Dave Arch to poke fun at the viral moment just before George Clarke took to the floor to dance to Coldplay’s hit Viva La Vida.
The original incident took place earlier this year at a concert in Massachusetts, when the cameras landed on a cosy-looking couple with their arms wrapped around each other in the audience.
Suddenly thrust into the spotlight, the pair quickly ducked out of frame, prompting lead singer Chris Martin to joke: ‘Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.’
It was later revealed that the couple involved were Andy Byron, CEO of tech firm Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company’s Chief People Officer, both of whom were married to other people at the time.
Andy resigned from his role shortly afterward, with the company stating that its leaders are expected to uphold a high standard of conduct and accountability.

The former footballer, 38, has been impressing the judges and the viewers at home alongside her professional dance partner Carlos.
Taking to the dance floor once again, the duo delivered a high-energy Quickstep, while Dave Arch led the live band.
The routine was fast-paced and full of intricate footwork, with Karen demonstrating her impressive skills throughout the performance.
However, just before the routine came to an end, Karen lost her footing on her dress during a spin, causing her to slip.
Despite the unexpected stumble, she quickly regained her composure, continuing the dance until the end.
When it came to the judges’ opinion, Motsi Mabuse said: ‘Karen, you looked elegant, you looked on rhythm, you were fast, you had a bit of sass.
‘I love the attack. You look more settled now. I think the first time you did the ballroom dances you were a little bit, ‘oh, where am I?’
‘But now on the dancefloor, you have everything: shiny, bright smile, attack.

Just before the routine came to an end, Karen lost her footing on her dress during a spin, causing her to slip
‘And a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful ending with a Charleston. There was a slip on the dress, but I forgive that. That was grand.’
Shirley Ballas said: ‘Well, I can definitely say from when you did your Tango, this is an improvement.
‘So, first of all, I’m a sucker for a man in a tailsuit. The tailsuit, the dress, the grooming, the whole going back – it just looks fabulous.
‘Anything with energy, you are outstanding with. Your personality is A*.
‘There was a little bit of gapping, but some of the footwork here was much, much better than you did in your previous dance.
‘You did the bum spin at the end; funnily enough, that was one of the best bum spins I’ve seen.
‘Did you have a little slip at the end? Yes. Did you recuperate? Absolutely. Well done.’
Anton Du Beke said: ‘Absolutely marvelous. To come out of the bum spin and then have that slip and go straight into that Charleston bit just shows what a great week you’ve had training – really professional and really focused.
‘It wasn’t thrown off at all by it, I love it.

Following the judges’ comments, it was then time for them to give their scores, with the duo finishing with a total of 27 points
‘I agree, a little bit of gapping. If you tuck your legs in a little bit under, so you feel like your thighs are sweeping underneath, your knees feel a little bit more forward, you’ll get a bit more of a line if you’re closer to him.
‘The opening was clean, this energy is great, much clearer in the footwork. I really, really enjoyed it, well done.’
Craig Revel Horwood said: ‘Well, slipping happens to the best of us, darling. Oh yes, guilty.
‘But recovery is important, darling. At least I didn’t faceplant and neither did you.
‘A tiny bit of gapping, your top line in this dance needs to be a little bit quieter, and your feet are slightly sickled – you need to turn those out ever so slightly when your leg is out.
‘But you know what, the Charleston’s that you do are incredible, I cannot wait to see you do a Charleston.’
Following the judges’ comments, it was then time for them to give their scores.
Craig gave a six, Motsi a seven, Shirley a seven, and Anton a seven. This meant that Karen and Carlos finished with a total score of 27.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Sunday night for the results show.
