SURPRISE: Sunny Hostin Makes HEARTBREAKING STATEMENT Why ‘The View’ Girls Can NEVER Be On ‘Wheel of Fortune’

Some fans of The View can’t get enough of the show, with a few saying on social media that they’d like to see the host take on other projects together. This includes appearing on a game show together. However, one of the co-hosts, Sunny Hostin, has previously shared a reason this might not work out as planned.
Sunny Hostin Has Been Part Of The View Since 2016
Hostin first joined The View back in 2016. Known for her background as a lawyer, she has also served as a senior legal correspondent and analyst for ABC News.
Viewers have watched the co-hosts on The View in some form since 1997. In addition to Sunny, the current panel of hosts includes Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
One fan recently took to social media to share one hope they have for the ladies of The View. As they shared, “As Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is an ABC show, I would love to see The View co-hosts compete. The only question would be if they should compete in pairs (so all 6 co-hosts could play at the same time) or if they would do 3 & 3.”
“Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is typically a laugh riot (although some celebrities take it super seriously) so it would be fun to see the co-hosts play. I know Sunny and possibly Ana have competed on Celebrity Jeopardy.”
However, taking to the comments, some fans pointed out that one of the co-hosts already shared something that could cause issues if she was on a game show, like Wheel of Fortune or Family Feud. Sunny Hostin has been very open about her competitive nature on the series and during the show’s podcast, “Behind the Table.”
Brian Teta Claims He Found A Kindred Spirit In Sunny
In one such podcast, as hosted by Brian Teta, Sunny appeared with her son Gabriel. At the time, Teta shared that he and Sunny “often bond over our similar competitive natures. We’re both a little crazy.” The star’s son agreed with the sentiment, noting, “I definitely get that from her. Very much so.”
This also came out during the special, “‘Behind the Table’ LIVE: An Evening With ‘The View’ Co-Hosts.” At the time, Sunny shared that she got her competitive nature from her mother, describing her as a “killer” and “super, super competitive.”
At the time, Sunny even shared that it’s hard to even play board games in her family. As she shared, “We can’t play together. It’s competitive in our house.”
Fans Also Shared Other Shows They’d Like To See The Ladies Of The View Appear On
As fans noted, this competitive spirit could be an issue if the co-hosts of The View did get to appear on celebrity versions of popular game shows. After all, these editions are meant to be friendly games, ultimately raising funds for charities.
That said, Sunny’s competitive nature hasn’t kept her from other game shows. In the past, she has appeared on Jeopardy! in the past, both as a celebrity contestant and as a clue giver. She also appeared as a celebrity judge on Beat Bobby Flay.
That said, fans continued to share their thoughts on whether the ladies of The View should all come together for a game show appearance. A few picked out a few other shows they’d like them to appear on. Some comments included:
“Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is typically a laugh riot (although some celebrities take it super seriously) so it would be fun to see the co-hosts play. I know Sunny and possibly Ana have competed on Celebrity Jeopardy.”
“I want to see one of them on DWTS…“
“I’m sorry to sound like the Grinch, but whoever saying that is making such a lame excuse. I know celebrities in general have a reputation for being divas, but as working professionals they should be able to figure out how to be competitive and have fun, while not threatening their relationships with their colleagues.”
“Whoopi would be funny but she has a hard enough time reading I don’t know how well she’d do.”
“I think even if they were to pair off on WoF it might be problematic for them.”
“I want to watch them on Jeopardy! I bet one of them would ask to buy a vowel.”
