TV legend Susan Lucci proved she was a true soaker star when she gave Good Morning America host Michael Strahan a lesson in how to have a terrific soap opera fight.

Michael was left drenched when actress Susan drenched him with water – 3 times – during a segment. Michael took it in good humor, as it was all in the name of entertainment.

Instead, he admitted that his “anxiety level went” up after Lucci grabbed the water, but still, he was game for more. He said: “Bring more water. C’mon. Let’s do this thing right. Get the aim right,” he said, and the All My Children star was given another glass, which she threw right into his face.

Michael’s co-stars , Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos did the clever thing and ducked out of the way. Susan and Strahan’s fake fight was a continuation from last time she was on, when she taught him the art of a fake slap.

Michael’s appearance comes amid a shake-up on the show. Michael is rumored to be eyeing an exit from ‘Good Morning America’ by the summer, potentially wrapping up his eight-year tenure on America’s much-loved morning broadcast.

The ‘Fox NFL Sunday’ analyst seems to have “had enough” of the show, with insiders informing News Nation that he’s looking to scale back work commitments to spend more time with his family. The talk of Strahan’s departure is emerging after his daughter Isabella faced a serious health scare with a brain tumor, which reportedly made him reconsider his life priorities.

Strahan took on a full-time role at GMA in 2016 following his successful run on ‘Live! with Kelly and Michael’ and has juggled his early television appearances with his NFL comments gig on Fox. News of him potentially leaving comes amidst potential changes in Fox’s NFL coverage, where even colleagues like Jimmy Johnson have hinted at TV retirement following a season that sat the network broadcast Super Bowl LIX.

“As a parent, you’re scared. Oh my, you’re just scared. It never occurred to us that it would be cancer,” he said. “I’ll be honest with you, just looking at the trajectory at that point of her life. And we have no history of anything bad in the family,” he added, confessing to a constant dread over any future health checks, even thinking 30 years ahead.
