The NFL Hall of Famer Strahan has been a TV star since leaving the game in 2008.

Since 2015, he has also been an entrepreneur and has his own clothing lines.

This week, Strahan revealed that he will launch a direct-to-consumer custom tailoring operation called The Michael Strahan Design Lab, exclusively through JCPenney.

“Introducing the Michael Strahan Design Lab! Suit up, big moves start with big confidence,” the New York Giants icon captioned his Instagram post.

The venture will help his clothing brand and plans to deliver made-to-order suits within two weeks at flat prices.

For example, a two-piece set will be $399.

Strahan’s new line of custom suits will be ready to purchase through its own online shop on Wednesday.

The business moves after he has recently added space for his apparel line at traditional retailers, including JCPenney, Belk, and Tailored Brands – the owner of Men’s Wearhouse.

Strahan’s operation is looking to add new retail chains, expand existing ones, and have the new website set to offer customized production for groups such as sports teams, wedding parties, and corporate events.

The 53-year-old and his cofounder at the production firm SMAC Entertainment, Constance Scwartz-Morini, started the namesake brand as a suit line a decade ago.

The goal of the company was to have an affordable, tailored clothing line, per Schwartz-Morini.

Strahan’s brand has licensed sports apparel with the NFL and NHL and a partnership with the global digital sports platform Fanatics.

The company also has sports contracts with players, including a NIL deal with college football star Travis Hunter.

Strahan’s latest business venture comes days after NewsNation reported that he is considering leaving GMA.

Michael Strahan’s NFL career

Michael Strahan is one of the most recognizable faces on television.

But he came into his media career with Fox off the back of a hugely successful stint in the NFL.

Strahan spent 14 years all with the New York Giants from 1993 to 2007.

He was a seven-time Pro Bowler and helped them win the Super Bowl in 2007 – ending the New England Patriots’ hopes of a perfect season.

Strahan was also a two-time NFL sacks leader and also won Defensive Player of the Year.

The ex-Giants star set the single-season sack record with 22.5 in 2001 – a feat which was matched by J.J. Watt exactly 20 years later.

He is one of the best defensive stars to have ever played the game – finishing with 141.5 career sacks and 854 tackles.

He is out of contract on the hit program this year.

The report added that Strahan wants to spend more time with his family.

GMA airs weekdays on ABC.

Strahan has been a star analyst on Fox NFL Sunday.

He recently helped cover Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans earlier this month.
