TRAVIS Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs’ brutal Super Bowl loss has helped Taylor Swift make an expected announcement.

The 14-time Grammy-winning icon Swift and NFL star Kelce have kept a low profile since the Chiefs’ Super Bowl 59 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this month.

Kelce and Swift have faced challenges since the big game, where she saw the Chiefs suffer a humiliating loss.

Swift was also booed at the game in New Orleans.

And Kelce has considered retirement from the NFL after 12 seasons in the league.

So on Monday, it’s been reported that Swift has prepared to put out an album that will be released by the end of 2025, and an accompanying tour, which is inspired, in part, by Kelce’s struggles.

“Taylor is in the development stages of her new album which will be released at the end of the year,” a source told The Daily Express.

“She wrote songs backstage on her last tour and bosses at AEG have been told to prepare themselves for another tour in 2026.”

The outlet added that the album’s focus would be on relationships, with some tracks about Kelce and Swift’s friend, actress Blake Lively.

The album would be the 35-year-old’s 12th studio album and would be out less than two years after the popular The Tortured Poets Department.

That album helped shape her record-breaking Eras Tour that ended last December.

To add some intrigue, Kelce might’ve accidentally sparked the album rumors too.

The 10-time Pro Bowler appeared in a recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show and hinted at listening to new music but stopped short of sharing details.

“I hear music everywhere,” Kelce said, before quickly adding that he “can’t say” more.

Swift’s relationship with Kelce has only gotten more serious since her last album.

Kelce’s future could impact Swift’s scheduled date of the album.

‘Well-talked-about personal life’

Travis Kelce was asked about his relationship with Taylor Swift during an interview with Good Morning America.

But the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave a cagey response.

“When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life that much easier,” Kelce told GMA.

“I’ve always been a very grounded guy. It might not come off that way when I’m playing football.

“But off the field, I just want to be a genuine person. I try not to get too far down the road.

“Because you never know what opportunities are going to present themselves.”

The Chiefs have told Kelce he has to decide on his football future by March 14.

He has been contemplating retirement after having the worst statistical season of his career in 2024.

The NFL team wants Kelce to return for another campaign but he would have a more limited part as a role player.

The Chiefs failed to achieve the three-peat after winning Super Bowls 57 and 58.
