Dragon Ball series could finally give Tien and Piccolo the fusion form they deserve, blending martial arts mastery with Namekian abilities.
SUMMARY
Tien and Piccolo’s fusion could blend martial arts mastery with Namekian abilities for a brand new transformation.
The fusion could be utilising martial arts and Namekian regeneration abilities to the very peak.
Dragon Ball series now has the perfect opportunity to showcase non-Saiyan characters in the spotlight.
The Dragon Ball series has come a long way when it comes to fusions from the time Dragon Ball Z Buu saga when Goku and Vegeta fused using the Potara earrings. Dragon Ball Super has been dominated by Saiyan transformations and power-ups, often sidelining some of its most iconic non-Saiyan Z warriors.

Two such characters, Tien Shinhan and Piccolo, stand out as prime examples of untapped potential. Despite their rich histories, their participation, and impressive abilities, they have been relegated to supporting roles and have been getting decreased screentime.
With Dragon Ball DAIMA making changes with nostalgia and innovation in a unique way, after these changes and the mixing of the new and the old fans. It would be time for these characters to shine again. A fusion between Tien and Piccolo could create a devastatingly powerful warrior, combining their unique skills into a force capable of being relevant in the new power-scaled system.
A fusion of martial arts and fighter genetics
Tien and Piccolo are both martial arts masters and dedicated fighters. They have been prominent from the very early parts of the series and they are ones who prioritize training over shortcuts. Tien’s disciplined mindset and hard-earned proficiency in techniques, such as the Tri-Beam and Four Witches (a technique that grants him extra arms), pair perfectly with Piccolo’s Namekian abilities.

Piccolo, due to his Namekian bloodline, has many abilities, including regeneration, stretchy and agile limbs, and the true destructive ability, the Special Beam Cannon.
A fusion between the two could not only give fans a new powerhouse but also revive the focus on martial arts in the anime instead of just bloodlines and intergalactic space races, and demon witches. There is a strategy in this fusion rather than brute force like the other transformations.
A fusion between Tien and Piccolo (let’s call them “Pien” or “Ticcien,” maybe even “Ticcolo”) would open up a world of possibilities. Imagine a character with three eyes, four arms, and the ability to regenerate limbs and stretch them mid-battle. If Piccolo was a battle-frenzied demon king (Daimao), then imagine the devastating power of this new fusion form.
Ticcolo would be an exponential strength combat fusion
Both Piccolo and Tien are rational and cool-headed fighters; their fusion wouldn’t lead to an imbalanced character like Vegito. Both would be able to exert not an additive but an exponential amount of control and combat ability after their fusion.

Their arsenal of techniques could include a Four-Arm Special Beam Cannon, merging Piccolo’s deadly precision attack with Tien’s multi-limbed offensive style, or a Tri-Beam Hellzone, combining the destructive force of Tien’s Tri-Beam with Piccolo’s explosive orbs attack.
What makes this fusion even more compelling is the character synergy. Both Piccolo and Tien have always been strategic thinkers, relying on calculated moves rather than overwhelming power. With quick regeneration and multi-directional attacks, Ticcolo would have a layer of unpredictability that most fusions lack.
