Former MasterChef judge John Torode has issued an important joint statement with his wife Lisa Faulkner. The pair, who first tied the knot in 2019, currently present an ITV show together called John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen, but announced a shake-up for fans planning to tune in this Saturday (December 6).
Accompanying a clip from the upcoming episode, Lisa and John wrote: “A little taster of John and Lisa’s Christmas Kitchen that is this SUNDAY on ITV at 12:30. We have moved just for this week but hope you watch and we give you a little Christmas inspo and a chuckle!!”
In the clip, Lisa said: “Do you know what I love about John at Christmas? He goes to our drinks cabinet, which doesn’t get used very often. At Christmas, I’ll be going, ‘What are you making now?’ and he’s got some special glass that’s come out just for Christmas.
“He fills them with ice and puts something in I’ve never seen before. I said the other day, ‘What are you drinking?’ and he said, ‘It’s a blackberry…’”
John interrupted to correct her: “No, it was my homemade damson vodka.”

“Homemade! I never even knew he made it! For Christmas!” Lisa chuckled.
Fans can’t wait for the new episode, with Strictly Come Dancing pro Vito Coppola heading to the comments to send them a supportive emoji.
Someone else echoed: “Love you both… welcome back!”
“I want to try the vodka!” another eager fan chimed in.
