Jenna Bush Hager has admitted she has a new addiction in an update to her followers on Instagram as she prepares to head to Nashville in her latest career move

Jenna Bush Hager has confessed to having an “addiction” in a candid post to her fans.

The Today host took to her Instagram stories to reveal her unexpected new hobby with her followers as she questioned if she was now addicted to it. Posting a picture Jenna showed herself playing mahjong – the Chinese tile-based game – seemingly having become a big fan of it.

The game encourages players to be the first to remove all of the tiles from play by matching identical pairs and specific combinations. Captioning her upload Jenna wrote: “Do I have a mahjong addiction? @themahjongline.”

Jenna is joined by Meghan Markle in her love of mahjong, with the Duchess of Sussex even hosting her own regular games night and naming her friends the ‘Maj Squad.’

Jenna, meanwhile, recently shared that she will be leaving New York to go to Nashville for her own literary festival – and shared that a very special guest would be joining her.

Speaking on Today alongside co-host Susanna Guthrie Jenna could not contain her excitement with her news. Jenna said: “Breaking news…Comedian, actress and best selling author, Tiffany Haddish, is coming to join me for the first ever Read With Jenna Book Festival.”

The event will take place on May 30 and 31 and is set to be wall to wall with celebrities and interesting famous faces. Fans may not be too surprised Tiffany will join Jenna at the event – they spotted the duo’s chemistry when they were on the show together earlier this year.

With no permanent lined up for Hoda yet, Jenna has invited various celebs to join her on air, including Scarlett Johansson, Dwayne Wade, and of course, Tiffany.

Jenna surprised fans when she confessed she had formed an unexpected bond with Tiffany. The Girl’s Trip star joined the presenter on the Jenna & Friends segment from April 23 to April 25, and the pair’s chemistry was evident from their first on-screen moment together.

Jenna gushed about their friendship on social media – and took to Instagram to share how a real friendship had bloomed between them. “Sometimes you meet friends at unexpected times! Love you @tiffanyhaddish,” she wrote.

Jenna is still on the hunt for a new permanent co-host for Today, following Hoda Kotb’s departure. Since Hoda left in January, Jenna has been joined by a variety of guest stars on the show, and despite numerous rumors about who might permanently take up the role, it appears NBC has yet to make a final decision.

The show was rebranded from Today With Hoda and Jenna to Today With Jenna and Friends after Hoda’s exit. In the meantime, Jenna has welcomed several celebrities and notable figures to join her as presenters.
