Jelly Roll revealed a more tender side as his 16-year-old daughter, Bailee, marked a milestone: her first prom.

In a TikTok video, the country-rock artist, 40, proudly poses alongside Bailee, who wore a yellow strapless satin corset ball gown by Sherri Hill. If the dress looks familiar, it’s because it’s a color variation of the designer’s blue-and-white viral sensation—an “it” gown of 2025 that has been flying off shelves.
Moments later, Jelly Roll wipes away tears as his wife, Bunnie Xo, playfully teases him. But he can’t help it — his baby girl is growing up. Bunnie Xo, 44, is soon overcome with her own wave of emotion.
“I’m crying,” Bailee’s stepmom, Bunnie Xo (whose real name is Alyssa DeFord), captioned her TikTok video.

Several fans pointed out that Bailee — in her iconic yellow ball gown — resembled Belle from the 1991 Disney animated film Beauty and the Beast. As one person in the comments put it, “She’s a literal Belle.”
Another praised Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s parenting, writing, “The fact that you make sure she’s living a normal teenage life speaks volumes.”

Jelly Roll, born Jason Bradley DeFord, is the father of Bailee and son Noah, 8, from previous relationships. He and Bunnie Xo do not share biological children.
“It takes a special kind of woman to raise a kid that isn’t her child and still treat the child as if she was,” Jelly Roll wrote on Facebook in 2020. “Over the years, watching her relationship with Bailee blossom into this beautiful mother-daughter bond that it has become has been nothing short of magical.”
“You are the epitome of a good mom and deserve more credit than anyone because you didn’t have to step up to the plate the way you did,” he continued. “You chose to step up and man you have knocked it out of the park. Thank you Mama Bear — we love you.”
