Coronation Street aired harrowing scenes tonight after one d3ath lead to a heartbreaking exit, with fans convinced another character is on their way to leave the Cobbles for good

Coronation Street aired a heartbreaking d3ath tonight – with a second character potentially set to leave the Cobbles.
Tonight, in sad scenes, Mason Radcliffe was k!lled by his brothers. Mason had planned to move away to Germany after deciding to tell the police about his brothers’ involvement in an active case.
Knowing they’d never leave him alone, he decided to fly out to Germany to see Stu Carpenter and pick up some work there. However, in tragic scenes, just hours before he planned to get on his flight, he was st@bbed and k!lled.
Mason was desperate to return to his house to get one last memory of his mum, and asked Dylan to help him. Whilst they were sure Mason’s brothers were safely being held in prison, it transpired they had been let out over lack of evidence.

Mason was severely injured after the incident
In harrowing scenes, Mason’s brothers found him and Dylan and chased him, cornering him and threatening and attacking him. Unbeknownst to anyone else, Dylan had brought a zombie knife with him to protect them and in the end, it was used by one of Mason’s brothers to wound him. Dylan ran away but Mason suffered a terrifying injury.
Scenes showing him speaking to Betsy, and making amends with her, as well as him speaking to Liam – who he bullied during his time at school – turned out to just be thoughts, and Mason was found by Abi with a knife wound in his stomach.

Mason was rushed to hospital
Abi desperately tried to save him as she called for an ambulance but sadly, despite the support of paramedics and hospital staff, Mason succumbed to his injuries and Betsy broke down as she was given the news.
It was also a tough time for Abi, who had experienced the tragic d3ath of her son Seb. Horrified by all that she had witnessed and the memories it brought back, she broke down in tears in Kevin’s arms.
The d3ath of Mason – played by Luca Toolan – affected all those around, even his sworn enemies including Gary Windass and Maria Connor. When Sean told Dylan what had happened to Mason, he was heartbroken and broke down in tears, knowing he had been the one to bring the knife to the fight but, of course, had not planned for anyone to get hurt.
Police officer Kit Green was later seen clearing the area and asking people to step away as it was a crime scene. Could this lead to an exit for Dylan on the show? If he was the one to bring the knife, could he be in trouble with the police and end up in prison?
*Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV1 and ITVX.
