TV CHAOS: David Jason shows true colours within moments of entering BBC Breakfast set, Leaving Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty STUNNED

Sir David Jason showed his true colours within seconds of arriving at the BBC Breakfast studio in Salford, host Charlie Stayt confirmed. The Only Fools and Horses legend joined Charlie and his co-host Naga Munchetty on the famous red sofa to chat about his comedy career – and within moments was getting everyone settled.

Charlie told viewers: “Very pleased to say Sir David Jason is here on the sofa with us this morning.” Sir David then chimed in: “Yes, good morning, good morning. How lovely to be with you.”

Charlie replied: “Good morning. Can I just describe for the viewers who are watching this morning, you make an entrance. I was quite impressed. As you came into our studio a moment ago you were saying hello to everyone. You know how to make an entrance, would that be fair to say?”

Sir David explained: “Well no, it’s just that I like to feel comfortable but I like also, if you can, to make the people that you’re with comfortable.

“The great thing is really to be a little bit outrageous to put everybody at their ease. It’s a bit of fun, you know? I said good morning to the camera, nobody except the camera was there, but the camera seemed to like it!”

Later, things got cheeky as Naga Munchetty asked the star “do you always do as you’re told?” after he refused to leak details of his latest project as he was under strict orders not to. Grinning, David said: “Oh, Naga! Yes, I will, for certain people. Not you, Charlie.”

He told Naga: “See you later!” as she was left giggling, leaving Charlie to wrap up the segment as she said: “Oh, a very funny man.”
