Emmerdale: Robert Sugden’s return
Robert Sugden was away from the soap for six years but he’s finally back! And, fans have never been happier, it seems.
He returned in a moment that truly counted as he arrived at John and Aaron’s wedding day to stop the wedding.
We’re so glad he crashed the wedding, after all, it’s better than regretting…
Aaron was truly stunned by Robert’s arrival and took it out on him by punching him in the face. He then went outside to speak to him, asking why now? Why today?
The pair shared a kiss and Aaron contemplated what to do… go back to the wedding and marry John or reunite with Robert. Come on Aaron, true love lasts forever. Love with a secret killer only lasts for as long as you’re not killed by them…

Emmerdale fans desperate for Andy Sugden return
With Robert now back, fans are hoping that another Sugden returns – his brother, Andy Sugden.
Andy’s return would fit in quite nicely to Sarah Sugden’s current cancer storyline, especially as her mum Debbie has just moved to Australia and won’t be able to support her.
Andy left the soap in 2016 as he went on the run after being framed by Lachlan for the murder of Lawrence and Chrissie White. But, could he return nine years later?
One fan on X wrote: “Would it be greedy of me to ask when Robert returns, he brings Andy with him?! Seeing the Sugden brothers reunited would be amazing plus it would be another dig at John!”
Another commented: “Next on the list – Andy to return to the village, make some funny one liner about Rob going after his brother’s partner again… and then they both team up to take John down.”
A third person added: “Now bring back Andy Sugden!”
And, a fourth viewer demanded: “They need to bring back Andy.”
