UNACCEPTABLE: Emmerdale fans SWITCHED OFF after just minutes over April Windsor’s CRAZY problem

Emmerdale viewers were left switching off the soap after expressing outrage at one of the the show’s recent storylines. Monday’s (November 3) episode of the ITV drama saw April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) haunted by traumatic memories of her encounter with Callum (Max Lohan). In the harrowing scenes, April was forced into meeting another client, who had paid Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) and her son Ray in exchange for s3x with the teenager.
After drinking excessive amounts of alcohol, April decided couldn’t go through with it. But when Callum refused to take no for an answer and attempted to force himself on April, she panicked and smacked him across the head with a bottle of vodka, k!lling him. In tonight’s episode, Ray’s grip on April tightened even further, with the 16-year-old now convinced there’s no escape after taking a life. When she suggested going to the police, Ray escalated the threat, pulling out a gun to intimidate her.

The unsettling moment drew a mixed response from viewers, with many describing the storyline as “ridiculous.”
Taking to social media, one wrote: “That’s enough tweeting along was bad enough watching it this morning. I’m slowly losing interest in this nonsense with half these storylines at the moment, just get in a bin!”
A second posted: “What has happened to #Emmerdale…the storylines are dragging on and making us switch off.”
Another agreed: “Was there ever a more ridiculous storyline on #emmerdale a 16yr old kid. Please get back to Emmerdale not this.”
A fourth said: “There’s no coming back for April now. The amount of trauma she’s gone through in the space of a few months. They’ve completely destroyed the character.”
“Oh ffs ridiculous storyline #emmerdale,” claimed another fan as an additional viewer fumed: “So fed up with this drug storyline.. it’s so stupid.

After speaking to Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) about how his dad, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) saved him when he needed it most, April headed to her dad’s house.
Tomorrow night’s special episode will explore the fragile and perhaps irreparable relationship between April and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock).
The teenager contemplates opening up to her father about what she has been going through, while a concerned Marlon hopes he can get through to his daughter to prevent her slipping further from his grasp.
