UNBELIEVABLE: Gogglebox’s New Couple leave viewers BREATHLESS as their SECRET REVEALED

A new Gogglebox couple left viewers speechless on Friday night as their age gap was revealed.
The show returned for a brand new series this weekend with five new families.
Officially joining the show are the likes of friends Jake, 27, and Calum, 31, from Glasgow and the Gordon family, Andre, 49, Sarah, 47, and their 25-year-old daughter Chee from Surrey.
But it was married couple Andrew, 62, and Alfie, 32, from the Cotswolds that really raised eyebrows among viewers.
With a 30 year age gap many watching at home were shocked and had first assumed that they were instead father and son appearing together.
They penned on X: ‘That Cotswold couple look like father and son.’,
‘They’re married!’,

‘Didn’t know that Andrew and Alfie were married.’,
‘At first I thought they were father and son. Now I’m just jealous of the new couple on #gogglebox as I, too, would like an older husband with a house in the Cotswolds.’,
’44 minutes into the programme and find out they are both married to each other. I thought it was father and son.’
Earlier this year Scottish couple Roisin and Joe, who joined the programme in 2022, revealed how bosses axed them.
Completing the new lineup are mother and daughter-in-law, Sara, 87, and Lara, 58, from Yorkshire, and sisters Rosie, 68, and Susie, 70, from Edinburgh.
They all join Goggleboxers Jenny and Lee, The Siddiquis, The Malones, Giles and Mary, Ellie and Izzi and David and Shirley who returned.
Also returning are the Plummers, Amira and Amani, the Worthingtons, Pete and Sophie, Abbie and Georgia, Sue and Steve, Simon and Jane, Ronnie and Annie, Danielle and Daniella, Teresa and Anita and Michael, Sally, Jake and Harry.

However, viewers accused Gogglebox bosses of ‘ruining’ the show as they flooded social media with their divided take on the new series.
One said: ‘I used to love it when we had Leon and June, Scott and Georgia, Sandy and Sandra, Steph and Dom… All of the original guys, when the reactions were all natural.’
A second posted: ‘Read the room @Channel4. We don’t like the new families. They’re irritating & too posh who we can’t relate to actually watching tv #Gogglebox.’
‘The new cast members aren’t doing it for me ): To posh. You’ve ruined it. I wanna see more of the regulars,’ said a third.
While a fourth commented: ‘#Gogglebox more about virtue signalling now rather than entertainment Think I’ll watch paint dry instead.’
Announcing their exit from Gogglebox, Roisin and John said: ‘After three and a half years of sitting on the sofa Channel 4 have decided it’s time for Joe and I to stretch out legs and have not asked us back for season 26.
‘Therefore we are leaving the Gogglebox family.
‘We couldn’t be more grateful to Studio Lambert for the opportunity, the experience has actually been so mad and we will miss watching TV with you all on Friday nights!
‘It’s been an honor to represent Scotland as some of the first Scottish people on the show and prove we don’t actually need subtitles.’
In a statement, Channel 4 said: ‘We thank Joe and Roisin for their contributions to Gogglebox over the years, and wish them all the best for the future.’
Gogglebox’s new series continues next Friday night at 9pm on Channel 4.
