UNBELIEVABLE: The Chase’s Bradley Walsh makes ASTONISHING CONFESSION about Dr Who

The Chase’s Bradley Walsh returned to ITV to host the beloved game show’s tense spin-off, Beat the Chasers, which sees hopeful contestants take on the five general knowledge experts for a chance to win a life-changing cash prize. On Sunday’s episode (September 7), he was joined by Deborah from Gosport who’d had hopes of using the prize fund toward a “nip and tuck” after dropping 14 stones. But as she took on Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty, Paul Sinha, Jenny Ryan, and Darragh Ennis, Bradley made a staggering admission.
The contestant was asked: “In which of these acronyms does the letter ‘S’ stand for space?” With the options being “Sonar, Tardis, Scuba.” After Deborah successfully guessed “Tardis,” Paul chimed in with expert knowledge about the words. He shared: “Scuba is a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus, and Sonar is sound navigation and ranging.” Highlighting Bradley’s time on Dr Who, the Sinnerman added: “I’m not going to say what Tardis is because you’re a former star of the show, you can tell us all, Brad.” The host laughed and shook his head as he admitted: “I never pay attention to any of that stuff.”

As the studio audience erupted in laughter, Bradley added: “I don’t, I don’t.” This prompted Deborah to share: “You actually came to Gosport for an episode of that.”
Still unable to recall, the presenter asked, “Did I come to Gosport?” After she confirmed, the 65-year-old asked, “What to film Doctor Who, did I?”
Questioning Deborah, Bradley probed: “Was I in the Tardis?” but before the play could answer, he joked: “Do you know what Tardis stands for? Please help me.”
The duo then put their minds together to try and remember the acronym, as Deborah guessed: “Time and something.”
They successfully guessed: “Time and relative,” before the contestant continued: “Dimension in space,” which was met with roars of praise from the Chasers and studio audience.
Ashamed by his lack of knowledge, Bradley asked the player: “Could you do me a favour? Could you tell me my name, please? I don’t remember any of that stuff; you’re brilliant with that.”
Bradley joined the cast of Doctor Who in 2018 and starred as Graham O’Brien, a retired bus driver from Essex who is in remission from cancer. He served as the companion for the thirteenth incarnation of the Doctor (played by Jodie Whittaker).

However, after two series travelling through time and space, Bradley confirmed his departure and said on Doctor Who TV “Working in Wales with everyone on the crew. I have absolutely loved it, loved it.
“Wales has become like a second home to me and being included in something so iconic and ground-breaking with the advent of having a female Doctor, that whole thing where Chibnall sold that to me, it didn’t disappoint, and I loved working with those guys.”
At the time, he added: “I love working with Chris Chibnall, that man is a genius, but to also be working with Mandip and Tosin and of course Jodie is just extraordinary.”
