UNEXPECTED TWIST: Jenny Eclair seriously INJURED on the set of This Morning BUT presenters Rylan Clark and Josie Gibson make SURPRISE MOVE

Jenny Eclair admitted that she was left ‘weepy, shocked and shaken’ after suffering an agonising injury on the This Morning set just moments before her live interview on Wednesday.
The comedian, 65, appeared on the ITV show to chat to hosts Rylan Clark, 36, and Josie Gibson, 40, about her latest stand-up show Jokes Jokes Jokes Live!
Just seconds into the interview Rylan pointed out that she had a ‘mare’, to which she agreed that she had – but luckily managed to see the funny side of it.
Jenny said: ‘I am in deep shock!’
Rylan replied: ‘You walked in this morning in my tracksuit and the paramedics were escorting you in!’
‘They were carrying me in’ Jenny told him. ‘Honestly, it was a real old lady, I’m so cross with myself. I got this new flask that came free with a car that I bought…

‘Normally I only drink vodka from it, when I am on tour I don’t drive. Let me make that clear. I sit in the passenger seat and I have a driver manager there.
‘I put a little bit of vodka for after, ONLY after the show and I mixed it with some tonic in my flask.
‘Today I thought well I’ll put some coffee in it because I am coming over to you from the other side, the right side of London.
‘This is the wrong side of London.
‘I thought I don’t actually know how to work this flask. I poured it on my face, you know some women that have to shave their mustaches or pluck.
‘I felt weepy and shocked, yeah I was shaking.’
A confused Josie asked: ‘Have you got a vodka rash Jenny?’
Jenny said: ‘No I haven’t. It was coffee!’

She also reflected on her successful career during the interview.
‘I’ve had a right laugh,’ Jenny confessed.
‘When I look back now, it’s been 45 years.’
Rylan replied: ‘Long may it continue!’
She said: ‘Well I’ve got no choice. I’m unemployable!’
Josie also wanted to know how her daughter Phoebe Eclair-Powell, 35, was doing.
She mentioned that it was ‘interesting’ listening to Peter Andre, 52, who was on the sofa moments before her, talk about his kids Junior, 20, and Princess, 18.
The funny woman explained that she is filming a TV series that she has written.
Jenny said: ‘I’m terribly proud of her because she’s done this all by herself.
‘I mean she’s obviously a Nepo baby… no she’s not!
‘She’s much cleverer than I am. This writing is the slog of it.’
Elsewhere in the episode opened up about his dramatic weight loss for his role in The Cut.
