Football fans are teeing off on Ohio State quarterback Will Howard for what they’re calling the “worst” NFL Scouting Combine performance of all time.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound quarterback is coming off a monster season at Ohio State that saw him complete 73.1 percent of pass attempts for 4,010 yards, 35 touchdowns and only 10 interceptions.
Will Howard helped the Buckeyes to a national championship triumph, throwing two touchdowns and no interceptions in a 34-23 victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on the big stage.
Howard got another chance to improve his NFL Draft stock during this weekend’s Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana. But let’s just say that Howard supporters will want to look away from the clips of the (many) terrible throws he committed at Saturday’s workout:

Social media wasted no time destroying Will Howard over his forgettable performance.
“Ohio State fans can make fun of JJ’s combine performance but you can’t make fun of Will😂 So so soft,” wrote one fan.
The 2025 NFL Draft is considered relatively weak for quarterbacks compared to previous years. Unlike most drafts, the 2025 class doesn’t have that one “can’t-miss” quarterback prospect.

Will Howard is the seventh-ranked quarterback on Mel Kiper’s NFL Draft big board. Only Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders and Miami’s Cam Ward landed on Kiper’s top 25 at fifth and sixth, respectively.
Howard is widely projected to be drafted in the third or fourth round, though it obviously depends on how desperate teams are for a quarterback.
