Next week on Emmerdale, Tracy Robinson is set to unknowingly honour the very man responsible for her estranged husband’s d3ath. In a well-meaning but tragically ironic gesture, she joins forces with Victoria Sugden to lift the spirits of John’s brother, scheming John Sugden, believing he’s been unfairly overlooked during a major event. Determined to make John feel valued and appreciated, Tracy plans a heartfelt celebration — completely unaware of the dark truth surrounding John’s connection to her past. The emotional tension builds as the village braces for the fallout of secrets that may not stay hidden for long.

Medical man John has recently been receiving high praise from friends and neighbours, after stepping in to save various residents of the village facing health dramas.
Next week, he’s due to reap the rewards by receiving a heroism award, but the day goes wrong when John’s fiancé Aaron Dingle suffers a mental health crisis.

John supports Aaron but ends up missing the event, which Tracy and Victoria see as a real shame. Fortunately, the eager pair are on hand for the next best thing…
“Victoria and Tracy quickly arrange a celebration at The Woolpack instead,” our Emmerdale source reveals.
“John may have missed the real award ceremony, but Victoria and Tracy make sure everyone knows how much of a hero he’s seemingly been since moving to the village. If only they knew the truth!”

ITV
It’s not all praise and well-wishes, though. Aaron’s best mate Mackenzie Boyd is annoyed when he misses out on the gathering.
Mackenzie is also growing increasingly jealous of Aaron and John’s relationship, fearing that Aaron doesn’t have as much time for their friendship anymore.

ITV
“Mack’s reaction is a reminder to John that you can’t win over everyone,” our insider adds.
“Poor Tracy is one of John’s biggest supporters, still oblivious that he k!lled Nate and hid his body, which is the source of all her recent misery and financial problems. But Mack is proving a little harder to impress…”
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Tuesday 13 May on ITV1 and ITVX.
