What Just Happened? Greg Gutfeld’s CHILDISH On-Air Antics With Jimmy Fallon Leave Fans in SHOCK and Awkward Silence Fills the Studio

Greg Gutfeld, the Fox News late-night host, appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on August 8, where he actually avoided poitical talk, and body language expert Judi James has shared with The Irish Star what his mannerisms might have suggested during a period of heightened media tensions.
Gutfeld came on the show at a time where Late Night comedy shows have been on heightened alert about their futures, following the cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
However, while Fallon is one of the hosts who has been warned by Pres!dent D0nald 𝑇rump he could be next — after the President praised Gutfeld–Gutfeld didn’t talk about politics on the show–though his body language and actions still caused heads to turn.

“Gutfeld’s body language suggests he’s been dropped into his seat from a great height, and his incessant shouting suggests he’s missed the fact that microphones have been invented,” James revealed. She continued, “He sits slumped awkwardly here with his legs splayed wide, facing the audience with only his head turned to look at Fallon.”
According to James, he “appears to control the narrative with his animated hand gestures and his endlessly entertaining, showboating storytelling, avoiding being actually interviewed by relating a long, hilarious bar tale about himself and Fallon.
“He uses his index fingers to direct and dominate here and to direct the viewer’s attention. If there are any more ‘awkward’ moments, like when he discusses being fired, he converts them into positives, looking into the camera to describe it as ‘The best thing in the world.'”
“He is full of energy in an almost adolescent way and his signals of enthusiasm peak when he is plugging his new show at the end of the slot,” she concluded. The segment marked a milestone as Greg Gutfeld, a known favorite of former Pres!dent D0nald 𝑇rump, made his debut on the NBC late-night scene, reports the Irish Star.
Host Jimmy Fallon avoided political discourse, opting to reminisce with Gutfeld about their initial encounter in a Hell’s Kitchen bar where both were “wasted” and ended up engaging in an impromptu wrestling match.
“This is hilarious – we’ve met before,” Fallon initiated the conversation. “Yes, you have no memory of it. Which is understandable, because we were wasted,” Gutfeld responded.
He went on to narrate how Fallon tackled him “like a giant golden retriever” and then grappled with Gutfeld’s buddy Andy.
Gutfeld took the opportunity to plug his new game show, ‘What Did I Miss? and had previously hyped his Tonight Show appearance as “the biggest crossover since the Harlem Globetrotters visited the Golden Girls.”
He commended Fallon for having him on the show, stating, “Unlike the other guys, Jimmy sitting with me proves he’s not afraid of upsetting his peers or afraid of my mesmerizing charm.”
Fallon, who has previously been critiqued for his gentle approach to political figures, maintained a light-hearted dialogue throughout the segment.

In his monologue, Fallon briefly touched on 𝑇rump with a single joke before segueing into introducing Gutfeld.
𝑇rump has recently lambasted late-night hosts including Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert, branding them devoid of talent and speculating on their potential unemployment.
In stark contrast, 𝑇rump has often lauded Gutfeld, applauding his viewership success and drawing attention to a Fox press release touting the host’s ratings achievements.
