“WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO LISA SWAIN?!” Coronation Street’s SHOCK TWIST now LOCKED IN—and Carla Connor’s WORLD is about to CRUMBLE.

Coronation Street fans have forecast a massive shock for DS Lisa Swain that will leave Carla Connor heartbroken.

Viewers will remember that Lisa was wed to Becky and they had a daughter, Betsy, together.

But disaster struck in 2021 when fellow officer Becky was tragically killed whilst on duty after being struck by a vehicle.

Earlier this year, DS Swain disclosed that the villainous Radcliffe brothers, Matty and Logan, were driving the car that fatally struck Becky in the hit-and-run incident.

The pair were subsequently imprisoned for murdering their own sibling Mason, who had attempted to assist Lisa in securing justice against his brothers, reports Belfast Live.

Meanwhile, in recent episodes, Betsy discovered some old documents concerning her deceased mother Becky and demanded explanations about her d3ath.

Lisa became alarmed by Betsy’s inquiries and document discoveries, telling new girlfriend Carla that she was desperate to prevent Betsy from finding a letter revealing that Becky was under investigation for corruption prior to her death.

This week’s episodes saw Lisa attend compulsory workplace counselling following colleague Craig Tinker’s on-duty death, which left her traumatised as it echoed Becky’s demise. During the therapy session, Lisa was questioned about Becky.

With all the discussion and plotlines focusing on Becky, fans are certain they’ve uncovered a major revelation.

Writing on Reddit, one viewer speculated: “Feels like a juggernaut coming down the line but I could be wrong. Is Becky – deceased wife of DC Swain and mother of Betsy – not dead?

“My very much of a guess is – she was undercover as a bent copper, big scary criminals, faked death to save her family, witness protection, yadda yadda yadda and suddenly TA-DA!!!

“It’s all the endless references and musings about a character we’ve never met. Feels like something’s afoot. Also a handy nemesis for Carla? That’s always a good thing.”

In response, one fan agreed: “I agree that the endless references about someone who we have never met is suspicious!”, while another quipped: “This would be totally ridiculous and undo all of swains character development.
